I pay $20 for ChatGPT. It's more than enough if you just use subscription and avoid API. I don't know why people would choose to spend tokens in order to run agents locally... Maybe that's a bit more convenient, but it's also a lot more expensive. I'm fine copypastfing code and, in fact, I've written a few bash scripts to automate copying and pasting files (like all files in a dir, recursively, with names etc).

The other day I used it to extract a bunch of download links in a website I ripped in various files scattered throughout the rip. I also vibecoded a video and image sorter (pic related), that uses opencv to generate thumbnails so I can get an overview of the video quickly and can choose where to place it in my destination folders. Various sorting programs exist but I couldn't find one that best suited what I wanted and lacked a lot of features. Sure it's not perfect but it allows me all the things I wanted in an image sorter.

Read it and modify. Ask the two agents why they made the changes explain them to me and comment the code. Read over it. Finish it. Create a README with it in markdown add to it and read over it. Finally done and push code. I use it for a lot of tutoring too I work in platform/SRE role it’s helpful. But I watched people just jam poop code into stuff and blow away clusters so you do need some skill with it. I like it but it’s not being used right by like 95% of people.
