Not sure if this is the right board for this, but since it involves Discord I'll post it here.>be me>finally improving my life>still using discord, made life gains but loneliness prevails>start falling off the rails a little>notice discord users following me around>run into a server full of people on alt accounts>30+ active users>quite a few love bomb me>feeling quite good from the attention I'm getting>they start introducing new maladaptive values/patterns into my behavior>since I got attention I start unconsciously adapting said values>values start ruining my life causing me to spend more time on Discord>more time on Discord = more money on DiscordIs this just one big brainwash psyop that companies try to push in order to keep people staying on the app? I read about brainwashing and the most common way to do it successfully is to love bomb people so their guard goes down and they start adapting your beliefs. This is the first time this scenerio happened to me but the same thing happened (including the same large group of love bombers) to my friend which made him stay inside more (and spend lots more money on nitro in the process).
if you're really getting lovebombed, why arent they buying you nitro?

>>108987666they did, the point it seems was to make my brain open enough to take on behavior characteristics that they wanted. quite a few people bought me nitro then i disappeared from the community because i could tell i was adapting the characteristics they wanted. they also setup a large number of discord servers (which they all controlled) with vanitys in the peoples bio so i would join them and think it was a different server.
>>108987699Have you tried not being naive and easily manipulable?
>>108987540/sqt/ is a few threads down.
>>108987828it's a cycle, when i become terminally online im not but then i start doing it to others in the group, then i try to get better and the same thing happens to me. it's weird cycle the group seems to get caught in of trying to manipulate eachother into doing dumb things, it has to be some sort of psyop. they always end up finding me eventually
Are you roleplaying a female on the internet? You don't even have to actually state that you are anywhere as long as you act ambiguously like have a girl avatar and try to act "cute". If so, it's not unusual to have a fanclub of simps especially if you're in a community with frequent engagement like videogame guilds/other mmo communities. That's just how such communities are, and generally always have been.I seriously doubt discord is running bot farms just to squeeze some pennies out of you.
>>108987899nope. also, i don't believe it's botfarms. perhaps im just being schizophrenic and overthinking everything. it just seems like discord is a cesspool for cult like thinking and people trying to brainwash you. really makes you wonder
I'm in a big JavaScript discord server and nobody lovebombs me (whatever that is).why don't they love me?
>>108987540Don't worry, once you become an adult and get a job you will lose orders of magnitude more money in similarly stupid ways.
>>108988025little money gainoy vey , we know this person gets uncaring when hes depressed, we know he buys drugs online implying he has crypto and we know he likes to code. what if we target people with these specific issues, inspire apathy into them which eventually leads them to downloading a crypto stealer we made while they think its just a programming pkg and since theyre uncaring they run it without second thought giving us their crypto. find a few of these specific people and its an unlimited money glitch >inspire and guide someone into a hobby and slowly nudge them into buying your product while they think nothing of it
>>108988075had over 5 jobs by now and none last
>>108988084Bruh
>>108988084I see, so this is lovebombing? Why not calling it what it is, "scamming"?
>>108988118never said it was lovebombing, the lovebombing is making someone feel unique and special so you can guide them to a specific path you want them to walk down which, you know, inevitably leads to the outcome you desire
>>108987540>more time on Discord = more money on Discordwut?that thing costs money?
>>108988118the man who has interests yet no path and has predictable behaviour responses is one who is open to influence and susceptible to walk down the path of someone elses design, leading to profits
>>108988128>>108988143thanks guys
>>108987828well anon made a thread about it and is clearly making questions so i think he's actually pretty attentive compared to 99% of the discord user base
>>108987540yeah, Christianity figured this out 2000 years ago
Lovebombing should make you feel uncomfortable, not inclined to spend more time getting lovebombed. Be more paranoid: you should know they're lying, and their true objectives and feelings are likely malicious.
