AI is telling me it's not possible as everything is localized to that device but that can't be true there must be a way to do it I'm not starting all over again from scratch.

the closest i got was using ClipSync server. an android app and pc application. through wifi and some initial configuration i could copy something on my android and ctrl-v it on my pc, and the other way around. but that was on android 8. now, on 11 not sure it it works. the app is ancient. im too lazy to test it.

put your clipboard in a file and send it over the network to the other device, there's many ways to do that.

No such issues with my Apple MacBook Pro M5 using Universal Clipboard by macOS Tahoe's Handoff feature.

It's not that bad, YMS. Go back to making more movie reviews. Also, where's Lion King part 2?

KDE Connect has such an option. How well it'll work is anybody's guess since it's linux software. I can't transfer files from my linux machine to windows machine and I had problems with my android phone too. OP you have to install it on both phones and agree to everything.

KDE connect. Works flawlessly so long as you don't want to push phone clipboard to another device (related to android permissions, no problem if rooted). Seamless for file transfer, clipboard, using the screen attached to another device as an extended screen, and remote cursor control. Beside the usual cross-device transfers, I also use it as a pseudo remote for an htpc. It also does both wifi and bluetooth. In the past I found the bt to be kinda undercooked, and wifi dualband only works if you're on the same band I think. Might do better on bt these days.
