GNOME Sushi as the file previewer component for the GNOME Files (Nautilus) file manager has now been adapted to make use of GTK4 as well as delivering other enhancements for a nicer file previewing experience on GNOME.The GNOME previewer companion to Nautilus has now been adapted to make use of the GTK4 toolkit as well as initial Blueprint and Glycin usage too. Some nice enhancements to Sushi for the current GNOME 51 cycle. I tried it out on the GNOME OS Nightly build.Plus there is now initial dark mode support, nicer floating toolbars, and other clean-ups. The layout of several file type previewers has also been enhanced. More details on these latest improvements to the GNOME File Previewer along with other updated GNOME software components can be found via the latest issue of This Week in GNOME.https://thisweek.gnome.org/posts/2026/06/twig-252/
That's good to know. I'll be switching to Ubuntu when they come out with the AI one. It looks great.

>>108998080>brew install <software>port install <software>
>>108998110appimage is dogshit though? there's no way to at least pin it to your taskbar
>>108999393>no way to at least pin it to your taskbarmaybe if you're retarded
>>108997971GNOME needs to speed it the fuck up and update the rest of their GTK3 software to GTK4. Also, just fucking kill their web browser, it's worse than even IE was on Windows.
>>108997971JNNOOOOOO!!the abomination called "darkmode" is so just... NOT computer. No one in computer history ever wanted it or imagined it was a good idea until the matrix came out and these zoomers suddenly HAAD to have their rain meters and Amoled
>>108999393You need an appimage integration daemon like https://github.com/TheAssassin/AppImageLauncherThis functionality should be natively supported in desktop environments desu, but once you get this up and running it's as simple as dropping the AppImage into an "Applications" folder.
>>108998080>doesn't mention who is flooding the country with non-european immigrsnts >identity politics directional brain rot Keep crying to the tranny to have this censored, /pol/tard.
>>108998080whoah, anon you cant have images like that on your mac or iphone.. apple periodically scans all content and probably reports you to the police

>>108997971File preview, dark mode, what did they hire MS marketing.Oh right themes are buggy and dangerous, because a certain developer gave it gnome powers
>>109010506i said name one you retard. even if it doesnt need another piece of software its still cumbersome as shit, like everything in linux. congrats on proving nothing
