My CPU has 128 cores I don't think it was a thing back then

You can still select that setting when configuring and compiling your own kernel. It's easy to do on Gentoo.

Gave up on Gentoo after I got tired of compiling qtwebengine/firefox on my, at the time, shitty hardware. I miss the tinkering and being young and opinionated :/

Soon you wont have to copy it, you'll be able to just download it

It have Rust in Kernel what would you expect at this point you can go back to Windows. Troons on both sides.
>>
>>109000397
It looks really sexy nonny, just like you.

plymouth is such a stupid and pointless piece of software. i don't care if hypothetical grandmas who won't be using linux anyways might be scared by some text and resolution changes. i'd much rather look at that than a spinning wheel on a black screen.

Old people who want to configure their own kernel can always use Slackware.
>>
>>109001108
Or gentoo

I love the MX Linux bootscreen which is a simply TUI bootscreen displayed straight in the virtual console

>>

this thread has nothing to do with plymouth retard
the penguins are native from the kernel

I wonder why...
>>

Booting is text mode is so much cooler than any boot animation could ever hope to be.
>>
>>109004907
I snatched https://tealwm.org/ but it'll take maybe a month or two before I release the first public beta build or any source code.
I was absolutely nolifing this project the past two weeks but I've gotta slow down a little.

Now it supports rotating the tile and multiple masters.

Does anyone actually use any tiling layouts that can't be achieved by these rotated variants of a dwm-style stack? Keep in mind you can just drag >>109002104 the windows around too
>>
>>109006889
Oh and I will add awesomewm-style resizing-within-tile feature, it seems very trivial to add.
But rest of this day I will slack off
>>
It's still there
