https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-50-super-series-now-rumored-for-ces-2027WE ARE SO BACK
RTX 6060 is going to cost $599 and have 8GB of Vram again (you don't need more for 1080p gaming)
>>109006543snoozefestgive me the 6090 already
>>109006543100% not true. Super refresh is going to happen with Blackwell. The normal gaming SKUs are moving as is. The whole reason Super refresh was even a thing was because original Turing was lackluster and it didn't move. Nvidia had to revamp the line-up to get inventory moving. AMD and Intel have nothing that can challenge that in near future with the discrete card. 3-4GiB GDDR7 chips are going to be only fitted on professional and ML SKUs. Gayming SKUs are hard-stuck on 2GiB chips until Feynman.
>>109006543Too late for me. I bought a 5070ti a year ago so I have 0 interest in getting a 5080 Super. I'll stay in my lane until the 6080 comes out.
>>109007190Successor to PS5 and XSX is going to change. The floor will likely go to 12-16GiB by that would be towards the end of this decade. We would be on Feynman by then.
>videocardz>rumored to release when 60 series releases
>>109006543If there is one thing you certainly won't get with potential Supers it is more VRAM.Not in these times.
>>109010443Buddy i don't think next gen consoles are launching this decade.Sure Microsoft is stupid enough, but no one at Sony is that insane to commit brand suicide by stuffing a console with 32GB of GDDR7 ram on a 3nm node and releasing it to the public during a global financial crisis at almost 1000 eurodollars. They aren't willing to subsidize 6 year old hardware at a time when mass adoption is critical for games like GTA 6 is needed so you already know they're not selling the PS6 for net zero margins, let alone be in the red.
>>109006543hope you're ready to pay double what they cost 2 years ago
>>109010369Benchlife is a credible source
>>109006543Rumored for like 7 months away. It's so fucking over.
>>109006543this is how you know AI shit is a bustHuang is already hedging his bets
>>109010441>until the 6080 comes outWhy would you care about? Are you after more VRAM or something?
>>109014653my hopes for 60xx cards is much better path tracing perf
the gpu market is cookedhttps://www.digitalfoundry.net/news/2026/06/next-gen-gpu-rumour-round-up-amd-rdna-5-and-nvidia-60-series-delayed-until-mid-2027-or-2028-but-rtx-50-super-coming-sooner
>>10900654350 series has been out for like 4 years now. Is NVIDIA just a dead company that can't innovate anymore? lmao
>>109015217it's an AI company with a legacy gaming division atp
>>109015224You avoided the question with something irrelevant.
>>109015232i answered your question but you just want to bitch and moan because i didn't fall into you trap*BLOCKED*
>>109012409Your argument makes sense, the only thing I don't agree is the price. Everything is more expensive than it was a couple of years ago, so I don't expect a new console to be less than 1000 usd
>>109014555nah if they were hedging their bets they would be ready with 60 series early next year, instead they'll be developing the 60 series for the next year and a half. releasing the 50 series super cards they previously weren't going to release is simply because they didn't hedge their bets so its a stopgap.
this could be big considering 50 series was already on an outdated nodethey just gotta shrink it downsad we won't get rubin but anything is good
>>109015217rubin series is shipping in combined units in Q3 this year, slated. we might get rubin gaming cards at ces next year but I don't remember how it worked with blackwell
>>109012409next gen will launch 2028 when ram prices recover. the PS5 pro is already on N4.I'm sure AMD and Sony are having discussions with TSMC regarding die size and yields for the most economical option.
>>109014660Definitely. Every generation since they introduced RTX has been quite the uplift for ray tracing and I feel like this time a focus will be on path tracing.
