If I study for the CompTIA A+ and get my cert, and apply for 500 jobs, and I have a bit of soft skills, not an awkward dork, can I get a help desk job? Or did jeets take all of them and they're only hiring their own? Or people with more experience are trying to get the same job as me? Let me know bros.

This tends to be the case in the current job market. If you have the cert and someone who can vouch for your who already works there, you are way more likely to get the job. Without the network, you are cooked.

You're doing what I did ten years ago, and it worked for me then. But why would you bother? Wouldn't you rather just study accounting at this point? You could probably make more money installing solar panels and skip all this shit.

My brother has a job somewhere in it but I don't want to work with my brother. Fuck it man I'm still gonna go for it, I'll manifest that shit lmao

No A+ is useless. Get CCNA and then maybe but honestly 500 jobs is peanuts ull probably need 2000 jobs applied

Follow these steps
1. Stop being a faggot
2. Get your welding cert
3. Get a real job
4. Stop being a woman afraid to work outside of air conditioning

You will have to be very persistent, with a high tolerance for needlessly long interview processes, but eventually, yes. IMHO though, it is absolutely not worth it unless they are looking to fill a tier 2 (or higher) slot, which is almost never going to be an external hire, but it happens from time to time. Entry level / tier 1 help desk is hellishly retarded torture, especially if it's for a larger corporate entity.
