Is dual booting the only practical solution?
dual booting is way less practical than a vm.
>>109018210>guys, wait for me 5 minutes, i need to reboot since this games doesn't work on this osthe only reason dualboot exist is for the poor who can't afford 2 pc, use a vm
Dual booting gentoo and templeos
>>109018210>dual bootingoh yes make sure you defrag your hard drive first and keep that floppy handy in case you need to run fdisk /mbr when the boot sector gets hosed
>>109018210It's against natural law to dual boot.
>>109018210depends on your use casei have a multi-boot laptop (arch-limine that chain-boots into nixos,fedora-kinoite,opensuse-tumbleweed) mostly because i got this laptop to experiment, fuck around and distrohop. learn how encryption, secureboot,PAM work and fuck with the hardware (it only has a barrel jack stock but i added usbc charging myself)on my main system i just run fedora-kde no need for multiboot
>>109018685Just use Kinoite and drop everything else.
>>109018210I feel like there's no point in dual-booting if the insecure OS is going to snoop your hard-drives anyway. Not sure if there is any way to limit access from one OS to different drives.
>>109018210Install proxmox, bare metal VM everthing else. Dual booting is outdated, pre-hypervisor era,
