I'm honestly getting tired of RED not having images. At this point, it feels like the site has been abandoned. If fixing it isn't a priority or they can't make it happen, just come out and say so. Why not run a community contest and reward users with bonus points for uploading replacement images? The community would probably solve the problem faster. And if they are actively working on it, then be transparent about it. Make an official announcement, explain what's going on, and keep people updated.
