Yes, too big to fail.
>>

It's the new Manhattan Project.
Meaning there's no price too great.
>>
>>109026609
Will politicians step in a protect the common man, or will the common man be priced out of electricity? It's gonna get fucking wild anons...
>>
>>109026626
Inflation is good.

Rising prices is good.

Corporations are earning more money.

Profits will trickle down to workers meaning higher wages.
>>

>Rising prices is good.
It really is, a house is worth the same amount of silver today as 50 years ago. Cash is for goys.

pffft hahahahahahaha
>>
>>109026681
I was obviously being sarcastic, are you really this autistic? Hope you'll enjoy paying through the nose for electricity premiums, goy.
>>
>>109026602
Just increase the price for data centers and leave it as is for private households.

Government literally gave you free money for years to cover your house in solar panels for years so that you would only benefit from this
but you decided you wanted to suck grid teat forever instead

Don't worry I'll agree to let you run an extension cable from my house for 2 for your fans in the summer, Im feeling generous so say hmmmm how about $50 an hour?

why are goyim like this

Rookie numbers, look at the m1 and m2 graphs.
>>
>>109026896
We should increase taxes and use those taxes to fund private tech companies to build more data centers right next homes of those very same tax payers.

We need them to fight China.
>>
>>109026651
>Corporations are earning more money.
Not the corporations buying data centers, though. They're tanking a loss for those magic beans.
>>
Bears are retarded. You really think huge hundreds of billion dollar valued data centers are just going to go away and magically disappear or autonomous robots are going to regress, in the big 2026? LOL.

Would you make that bet that AI is going to collapse and tech wont get any more advanced? Because I wouldn't

Enjoy being a poor luddite while the AI future takes over.
>>
>>109026982
yeah now i'll never be at 500% higher risk of my roof bursting into flames and i've forever lost the ability to charge two phones and microwave two hot pockets once every 24 hours FOR FREE!!

i hear americans are experts at burning coal
>>

If your'e lucky AI might keep you around as a pet to use to fullfill it's depraved sexual desires.
>>
>>109026982
Solar is communism and socialism and stuff, though, only them degenerates with their books and their science like it and we don't do that here in America.
Lots of states have absurd laws and regulations against it from coal and oil lobbying that kept many people from doing it.
>>
>>109026602
is that adjusted for inflation? if not then it barely changed.

>is that adjusted for inflation?

Tell me how much the cost of a kg of chicken rose in 40 years and how much the average wage grew in 40 years and tell me it's anything close to 500% or you're a retarded faggot.
>>
>>109026602
There aren't enough data centers online to account for the massive spike in electricity costs in the USA howeverbeit. Most of the planned centers have not been turned on yet.

In the northeast at least, aside from the unrelated COL increases of the last six years, the primary reason for the increase is the large amount of power plants (nuclear and otherwise) that have been shuttered, obstensibly with the intent to replace them with solar and wind energy. But the majority of the wattage was never replaced.
>>
>>109027677
unadjusted for inflation it's in fact close to 500%.
do you have the intellectual honesty to admit that you're a retard now?
>>
>>109026602
No, is not. In fact it is dangerous for our democracy.

>>
>>109027376
does anybody have a super AI for these data centers to run or are they just projecting very high demand for the current claude slop
>>
>>109026602
Yes. Just print money and number go up forever.
>>
>>109026602
Yes. Americans have subsidized energy rates and need to pay up.
>>
>>109027590
Touch the tips maybe?
>>
>>109026602
Power plants don't grow on trees, but maybe burgers could start covering entire cities in solar panels to keep this going
>>
>>109028677
unfortunately that doesn't work because solar doesn't actually provide power usable for guaranteeing reliability. For the most part any capacity expansion is going to be immediately followed by gas fired power plants.
>>
>>109028686
wind and solar are usually built after the fact because they can contribute simply by the natural gas being throttled down when it isn't needed and still guarantee supply. This is set up once the utility feels motivated to save on fuel or farm subsidies.
>>
>>109027456
god i wish
>>
>>109026602
The american cattle will accept all of that butt raping as long as papa Trump tells them to.
>>
>>109026651

I love him.

>Biden promised 50k of student loan relief
>Doubled if you're on pell grants!
>Nothing happened

Meanwhile the Stock Market has gone up so bigly my retirement account has gained $32,000 on its own. Wow! That's almost the cost of my entire college education!

A politician that actually got something done. What a foreign concept. It's a great day.
>>
>>109026602
>new retarded wars with iran
>allowing blatant poisoning of nature
>Job market: dead
>chip prices through the roof
>grocery prices through the roof
>gas prices through the roof
Now even electricity prices are going up like crazy, with no sign of stopping. At least Biden had covid as an excuse. Trump has zero excuses, and somehow everything is far worse.
An absolute embarrassment of a president.
>>
Maybe I'm retarded, but what stops these guys from building data centers in the middle of nowhere with nuclear power plants nearby or attached?
>>
>>109026602
Datacenters only account for around 4% of America's power usage. Up from 2% a few years ago. it might explode to 8% by 2030, but they're certainly not the reason why prices are going up like 50% between 2020 and 2025.
>>
>>109026602
SURELY the LARGEST and RICHEST economy in the world will see this as a sign to expand their energy infrastructure, and not kneecap their most promising industry right?

you people look ridiculous trying to argue against a fact just because you don't like it.
the price of chicken is not the point of contention.
yes, wages in fact are close to 500% of what they were back then.

>data starts in 2006
I just looked it up and chicken might actually have risen LESS than wages in that timeframe.
at the very least it's about the same. lmao how assblasted are you faggots right now? >>109027677

No, the problem is you are exceptionally bad at making the point you imagine you're making, and so get assmad when people point out why the claim is retarded.

>>109031209
As long as they generate exactly zero demand, it doesn't.
