Ed Zitrons claiming he'll make every AI zealot kill themselves in two weeks
2MoreWeeks
>>109026704Ed is a little annoying but I support him in this endeavour.
>>1090267041. we don't care about ecelebs2. go peddle whatever this is to the general public, not to people who know how this works
>>109026704>unironically two more weeksk. keep me posted
u forgot the first part right above this.
so hes going to prove that theyre doing a deliberate ponzi scheme or what?
>>109026704>two more weekshow many times will people fall for this
>>109026731>ecelebsRetard alert
>>109026704there's just too much money at stakethey won't allow it
Finally
I'm glad I'll never be as wrong as eddy and his fanboys
>bubble will burst in 2 more weeks
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Mn-TNLwQys
>>109027265dont think hes ever claimed before that he had information that would pop the bubble
>>109029035and all you need to do is wait patiently and make sure you like and subscribe and pay to his patreon and don't get upset if there's some delays in the big news because it's so big it might take some time to put together! definitely not a scam! don't forget to donate!
reads just like other clickbaits. this is the content, not what is coming.
>>109029058every content creator has some angle of making money, that doesn't mean their arguments are irrelevant. this is the new journalism.
>>109029068agreed that every """"content creator"""" has some angle of making money. But the very act of trying to extract value from me in return for nothing at all merely proves they have nothing important to say and shouldn't be engaged with or listened to. The instagram thots who push makeup brands at least show what the makeup looks like while worn, this faggot retard constantly makes incorrect predictions and gets btfo on the regular, then comes around and says "big news!!! big news!!! can't tell you yet tho!!!" is worth even less than that.
>>109026704> FOMO AIDS
>two weekslol
>>109029086>big news!!! big news!!! can't tell you yet tho!!!Yeah that's pretty Anthropic>scary model!!! scary model!!! so can't show you yet!!!
facts didn't even pop the housing bubble
bubble isnt popping until the openAI IPOinvestors are going to try as hard as they can to keep this shit afloat just so YOU have to hold the bag instead
>>109029253Gonna feel like popping a massive pimple.
>>109029253>ipos from spacex, anthropic, openai>google and facebook each selling something like 80b in stocks to raise moneyInvestors are gonna run into liquidity issues if they wanna have all that. Guess I'll stock up on popcorn and watch what happens.
>>109027265until the Kraken is truly released.
Alright everyone, put in your guesses as to what this is.>Whistleblower leak of OpenAI or Anthropic's internal finances>Proof that many of the models don't actually exist and they're just version-bumping numbers and gaslighting users into thinking there's a difference.>Proof that it's Actual Indians responding to your requests>Leaks of Sam Altman or Dario admitting internally that AGI doesn't and will never exist
>>109029331I'm thinking its most likely the 1st since the finances are what he's been harping on this whole time. 2nd would be funny though and 4th probably wouldn't even do anything to affect the bubble
>>109029331The first. Presumably something more than a slide deck.
>>109026704That reads like a six year old delivering his, "I've got a secret, and you don't know it, ha ha" line when he doesn't have a secret at all. All the adults know this and quietly ignore him.Two more weeks. ;)
>>109026704That second paragraph makes no grammatical sense; I don't know who this fag is and I normally give little credence to gran standings.
Zitron is increasingly desperate because he's staked the entire past three years of his life and his reputation entirely on his bet that AI is a bubble - but the longer this goes on the more he gets proven wrong by events. Fable 5 is such a groundbreaking event you can actually see Ed getting really, really desperate now, because he is realizing he was fucking wrong all along. A couple years from now he will be considered the greatest retard of the early-AI era and people won't let him forget. He'll be laughed out of the tech industry altogether
>>109030254The entire point of this drone post was namedropping fable 5. Probably an xbox shill.
>>109029331aren't 1, 2, and 4 common sense? they don't really need leaks to confirm what's obvious. 3 is funny but untrue
>>109030270Turns out this whole "AI bubble" was just a marketing stunt by Peter Molyneux.
>getting aifags to kill themselvesBut the ai chatbots already do that
>>109030270you can easily tell shillposts when they mention specific products for no reason
>>109030803fpbp
>>109029331No way an actual indian is responding to anyone's request. I refuse to believe Rajesh Pashwarmi can type in English that quickly
>>109030819You bloody!
Yeah this is where I stop with Ed. Either drop the goods now or fuck off.
>>109026704Doesn't matter, Trump is gonna bail them out
>>109026704More like Ed Zitrans.
Massive nothingburger. The only thing that will cause the AI bubble to burst will be an investor exodus and the sunken cost fallacy will keep things going for a long while yet.
>>109031356ed citrus is my favorite coke flavor
>>109030254>Fable 5 is such a groundbreaking event you can actually see Ed getting really, really desperate now, because he is realizing he was fucking wrong all along.Other than being more belligerent and generating more tokens during “thinking”, I haven’t noticed an improvement over Opus 4.8.
>>109026704>2 weeks
>>109026704Source?
>>109031352But who will bail out US afterwards?
>>109026704Sauce?
>>109031704try ranch
>>109026731>ecelebsNewfag-kun, that's not how you use that term...
I'd wish, but nothing ever happens. Until it does. But then I will be dead.
>>109029331All the money men are aware that the internal figures are made up and they are going along with it because it makes them money right now, same as the housing blowout. The only thing that could really pop the bubble before the investors want it to pop is some academic paper that can prove that AGI is impossible with current methods regardless of computer. And I think that's both very unlikely to be given to Ed and very unlikely to be something you could describe mathematically.
>>109031761ea paper that proves that you don't need more than 10^9 params for AGI would also pop the bubble, because suddenly a 5 years old CPU with 16GB RAM gives you a dozen or two tokens per second of human-equivalent intelligence, which is still faster than a human
>>109030254This. Ed was cooked the moment Mythos started discovering real software vulnerabilities en masse and GPT-5.5 solved the unit distance problem. It is clear now that AI is useful and not going anywhere. We could get a mini-Dotcom bubble burst as the industry shakes off some dead weight, but there will be no big pop.
>>109031704it's simple, just give the grifter a monthly subscription and he'll tell you in 2 more weeks 2 more weeks 2 more weeks 2 more weeks>2 more weeks
>>109031787I thought that it's obvious to all paying attention that current AI is not efficient, and it will be if given couple years
>>109026704
>>109031822It is, the catch is 99.99999999999999% of the people burping up AI in their tweets and facebook posts to grandma aren't paying attention
>>109026704You can't convince me he doesn't know about the two weeks meme.
>>109029331It's probably something proving that inference is unprofitable, which we knew all along. In any case, anyone currently investigating in AI is doing it knowing that it's overvalued and they just expect to dump it on a bigger idiot before the bubble pops. No amount of reality checking will change anyone's mind, since reality was never a consideration anyway.
>>109031981>anyone currently investigating in AI is doing it knowing that it's overvalued and they just expect to dump it on a bigger idiot before the bubble pops.If you have access to any executives at your company you should talk to them about AI. Try to not show the horror on your face when they answer your questions.
>>109029331Its an hour long video of jensen giving sam altman a golden shower
>>109031761There was a study that proved that with LLMs, the problem of hallucinations is a mathematically unsolvable problem, however nobody cared about it. The only thing that pops the bubble is OpenAI and Anthropic failing to raise more money and go bankrupt.
>>109031352US has more national debt to gdp ratio than it had after WW2 and the interest rate is quite likely to increase, and if it doesn't, inflation will kill the economy even harder.Trump has no money left to bail out anything. He wasted it all on the Deporting Brown People Department
>>109026704for the lols of course
>>109029253gamblers fallacy
>>109032043We can't spend money when we're in debt? That's quite the discovery anon!Anyway, we have saved so much money by not deporting anyone or building a wall there shouldn't be a problem investing in the golden age
>>109032043He wasted even more of it on the bombing Iran department. This is also after losing the tarrifs that were allegedly going to pay for everything, too.
>>109032238>We can't spend money when we're in debt? That's quite the discovery anon!National debt is different from personal debt. A moderate amount of national debt is a good sign, it means that an economy is heavily investing on itself, that is unless the economy wastes all the money they've borrowed on useless shit that don't meaningfully grow the economy and as a result they're only left with an increasingly ballooning debt with interest payments that grow out of control. Greece already learned what happens if they do that the hard way (i.e. worse economic crisis than the Great Depression), and now US and the rest of the western world will find out as well.
>>109026704there's some structure in the human brain that is highly tuned to things changing in a substantial way in a time span of two weeksone week? nope, too short to do anything meaningfulone month? nope, too far-sightedtwo weeks? it must be true
>>109032244all dems had to do to avoid this situation is field a better candidate than Kamala the charisma vacuum, this is their choice, they voted for this
>>109027269oh, podcaster, sorrywtf?
>>109029331>Actual Indians responding to your requeststhat'd be the new McDonald's streamlining moment, kek
