Do you own a vintage clock radio anon?
>>
>>109029385
no... but there is one I've had bookmarked for months now I just never really felt like committing
>>

Better late than never, hope you get a working one

Several. I wake up to NPR's outrageous propaganda on this one every weekday.

no. just a a cheap chinese 'wood' clock. bought it many years ago and upon looking them up they've become oddly expensive compared to what they're truly worth.
>>
I have a chink copy of a 90s model with FM radio and tape deck, but the display was so bright (no brightness switch) and ate so much power on standby that it was not worth keeping it plugged.
>>
>>109029385
Yes. But it wasn't vintage when I got it ;-;
>>
>>109029385
No, but I went to a thrift store a couple years ago and found the same alarm clock my mom had since the 80s that died a few years ago and got it for her for like $5. She didn't like her modern alarm clock for whatever reason and was glad to have the old one back.
>>
i got a philips from the 70s. they're cool but i'm not autistic enough to collect them.

Your loss. You will never know the joy of synchronising the alarms on your collection and livestreaming the event every year.

I have a radio that looks similar to the one in my picture. Radio doesn't work. It's probably an old capacitor that I need to change but I'm so lazy
>>
>>109029385
No, I have a portable AM/FM/Shortwave radio though.

I'm probably going to buy the next one of these I see at goodwill. Don't listen to current radio at all but I found simple instructions to wire up an aux input. Would be comfy to have it play old episodes of Coast to Coast / Loveline / etc at night like I used to do 20+ years ago. Or modern podcasts I guess

Grab the blue vacuum fluorescent version.
