Half the time they can’t get the current version to build. Current version uses a 10+ year old compiler because it doesn’t compile on new ones.
Often the build is so complicated, no one person really understands it.
Our build process, for (one small example) example, needs 5 versions of ‘m4’ some old and some new, all mutually incompatible.

Really wonder what impact this will have on Crossover.
It already doesn't work on macOS very well compared to on Linux where it runs nearly everything. And compatibility and performance are even worse on Apple Silicon.
