did anyone learn GIMP or photoshop? How long did it take you to produce okay content and did you think it was worth it? I have GIMP installed and would like to make meme every now and then but every time I just try to make a meme without reading all of the documentation I have no idea how to do anything.

I started using GIMP to create and edit custom portraits for CRPG video games. I'm not a real artist, but I feel comfortable using it to produce meme edits and such. I've used it to edit texture files for a mod I made for Starfield. Things like that.

I would just use it and then whenever I wanted to do something google a youtube tutorial or the documentation page on how to do that. A few minutes here and there over time, and I feel pretty comfortable with it now.
