You guys are more tech incompetent than my 90 year old grandmother. If you can't manage to get your sleep to work (which should by default) then you either fucked your system (likely with garbage "debloating" scripts) or you're simply pretending to be retarded.

These features have always been temperamental. Whether it works depends on the specific motherboard and bios. ACPI was a mistake.

Sleep mode used to be the superior option when it took longer to turn the pc back on. The one i have right now takes like 20 sec to get back into when it's off and the performance may be slightly better if you shut it off more regularly. Is there a point to sleep mode anymore?
