Disaster after disaster. like literally. Windows team needs an overhaul. remove all the jeets and hire actual operating system people. also remove the shitty backdoors. it's why we get shit like picrel
>break bitlocker with a xml file
Well whatever is going on, I hope that guy wins.
>t. Windowschad who is tired of microjeet jeetifying windows with AI react slop
>>
install gentoo

>Windowschad who is tired of microjeet jeetifying windows with AI react slop
Stop trying so hard to fit in.

clearly, that's (You)r problem

>Disaster after disaster. like literally. Windows team needs an overhaul.
What makes you think this wasn't intentional?
>>
Firing jeets is literally career suicide for a project manager. What the fuck are you talking about.
>>
>>109035811
>hire actual operating system people
the people who know their shit wouldn't touch that system with a ten foot pole (plus they already made it and are old), then you got a new gen of people relying on AI who can't land junior positions for JS sweatshops, it's over for the foreseeable future
>>
>>109035811
>What is even happening anymore?
This is what happens when it becomes personal.

Windows and bitlocker are full of backdoors like everyone have speculated for years. The veil is simply being lifted now
>>
>>109035811
only zogbots use Bitlocker and i am happy when they get hacked
>>
>>109035811
Don't worry, AI will fix this. No need for expensive engineers anymore.
>>
>>109037496
I am not a zogbot.
>>
>>109037511
then don't use bitlocker
>>
>>109038136
It works fine on my machine.

Windows is done and over.
Linux is dying.
It's BSD or Haiku at this point kek.
>>
>>109035811
>build backdoors into products
>backdoors inevitably get exploited like everyone with a brain predicted
>copepilot why is this happening to us?
The chickens have come home to roost.
>>
>>109038149
everybody and their mother can bypass it and Microsoft syncs the keys into the cloud... what is the use case?
>>
Jeets are going to completely destroy technology. Kinda based.
>>
>>109035811
Windows is fundementally swiss cheese. Always has been. Why? Because of how they use dll files and access controls. Windows is insecure by default.
>>
>>109038192
>Jeets are going to completely destroy technology
American* technology

And that's a good thing. Death to America.

VeryCrypt doesn't have this problem

I hate how no one takes any of these exploits seriously.

At work, Sophos is used to protect and encrypt endpoints. Sophos leverages BitLocker for encryption. I was able to easily decrypt any "protected" device using YellowKey. No one cared, so I opened a ticket with Sophos. They didn't care, then finally added signatures for the exploit when I complained. I told them I could still decrypt any of my licensed devices and asked what their mitigation suggestions were. They closed my ticket.

Now, here we are again, and it's the same thing. Minimal coverage or discussion, no mitigation, no one cares. Maybe it's because YellowKey was an obvious government backdoor.

what could possibly incentivize North Koreans to go after macOS haha there's just no way anything could possibly go wro-ACK

oh

>>109035811
they fired QA years ago and its nothing but jeets and AI now. I'd be shocked if you find a single white developer at any Microsoft campus.

>setting up new hand me down laptop
>restart to enter bios after windows force fucking updates itself
>Bitlocker has locked your drives, provide the recovery codes goyim
>fuck this
>install Linux Mint 22.3
I made the right choice, now windows fags are dealing with hypervisor BSOD’s, imagine virtualization fucking failing because you need secure boot on by default.
>>
>>109035811
People keep buying keys
People keep buying computers with Windows loaded by default
People keep buying Office 365 subs

The reason most people shouldn't have computers or access to computers is because they are willing to accept the garbage software that Microsoft puts out. They aren't good consumers but their dollar goes as far as yours does.

It's not a problem that can be solved with the "free market"

I made an ecrypted .7z file for my moms medicare backup PASSKEY shit and it immediately flagged the file as "unknown possibly malicious" and won't let you open the 7z document withbout going INTO THE FUCKING SETTINGS TO OPEN A FILE even if you have keka installed it won't let keka open A FUCKING DOCUMENMT

My work laptop solely for corporate compliance/teams/powerpoint work rebooted five times with its last update FUCKING FIVE REBOOTS. In 2026 I have to update before every remote teams meeting, or an organizational policy could force me to do it during a meeting. A few months ago, I was attending a meeting without doing this, and my system decided to do a roughly 17 minute BIOS and platform firmware update in the middle of it with no ability to cancel.

Things have gotten really, really bad. Windows will be mostly dead in under ten years, this cannot go on, it's too expensive.
>>
>>109038180
>Microsoft syncs the keys into the cloud
Only for morons who are signed into a Microsoft account.
>>
>>109035811
guess what; bitlocker was never secure
>>
>>109035811
The only "disaster" is the goyim finally finding the backdoors that only the epstein ruling class were supposed to ever know about.
Anyone with a brain just uses LUKS.
>>
>>109039249
They were just kicking the bucket. Windows Defender picks up YellowKey now so it's redundant work.
>>
>>109035811
The kindest interpretation I could offer is that Microsoft, in an honest attempt to make Bitlocker transparent and easy to use has overlooked a lot of shit.
I don't really believe in that, though. The US government clearly LOVES backdoors and if Bitlocker actually worked and wasn't crackable for them, they would never, ever let them release it.

literally competency crisis with all the vibe code and hackers having the same exact tools as their best "engineers"
it's only matter of time until someone makes a virus that just destroys everything OR a jeet vibecode shits itself and does the exact same thing
