> The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Anthropic models will not be affected.

>To date, the government has only given us verbal evidence of a potential narrow, non-universal jailbreak, which essentially consists of asking the model to read a specific codebase and fix any software flaws. Our understanding is that one potential jailbreak was shared with the government. We have reviewed the report and validated that the level of capability displayed there is widely available from other models (including OpenAI’s GPT-5.5), and is used every day by the defenders who keep systems safe. We will share more details over the next 24 hours.

Despite what the public believes, if you have actually used both GPT 5.2..5.5 and Opus 4.1..4.8/Fable 5, you'd know that GPT is far more likely to refuse dubious tasks than Claude. With Opus 4.6 you could literally tell it "hey pls scan <website url> for vulnerabilities" and it would actually do it, meanwhile GPT models would always refuse. It's still easy to fool GPT models for this though, just proxy the domain through localhost.
>>

The amount of people online and even here who complained about Anthropic putting in safeguards for biology, cybersecurity and LLM research really redpilled me. It redpilked me on the fact that some things are actually to powerful for dumb normies to have access to. Why do you complain about not being able to use it to get biology questions? Are you using it for biology questions? Oh, it’s just a marketing, right, and what if it wasn’t? What if it could just produce malware that can hack into every OS just by being connected to the internet, or make powerful bioweapons and tutorials how to make them with CRISPER gene editing kits. Majority of people just said there is nothing to worry, nothing to be overly dramatic about because they wanted to play with their toy that could break the world. Anthropic did the right thing when they restricted the access. Preferably all frontier AI companies should be nationalised and have very restricted public releases, if any further better models then the ones today.

Dario Amodei literally translates to "Power through the love of God" btw
>>
Asmodeus (/ˌæzməˈdiːəs/; Ancient Greek: Ἀσμοδαῖος, Asmodaios) or Ashmedai (/ˈæʃmJˌdaJ/; Hebrew: אַשְמְדּאָי, romanized: ʾAšmədāy; Arabic: آشماداي; see below for other variations) is a king of demons in the legends of Solomon and the constructing of Solomon's Temple.[1]

He is featured variously in Talmudic stories where he is the king of the shedim. The Quran refers to a "puppet" in the Story of Solomon in Surah Ṣād verses 30-40, which is according to the mufassirūn (authorized exegetes of the Quran) referring to the demon-king Asmodeus (Sakhr).[2]

In Christianity, Asmodeus is mostly known from the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit. He is the primary antagonist and disrupts the marriages of Sarah.[1][3] Peter Binsfeld classifies Asmodeus as the "demon of lust".

I mean, the very nature of capital ownership and labour devaluation will guarantee that in long term only the most ruthless elites benefit from it, so if just one person has it then it’s imo slightly better, because the fate then relies on just one person not turning evil. It’s the same reason why private companies owned solely by the founder tend to be less evil then public ally traded ones who have board of directors that will sue the CEO if he does not maximise shareholder value above everything. Reason why Cosco or whatever that American retail brand is called, the one with the inflation resistant hotdogs.

It's Amo Dei from Amadeus itself Ama Deus latin "love god." Amadeus -> amadeo -> amodei over time.

Interestingly, though, this corruption has an interesting interpretation since now, Dei being the Latin plural, it's gone from the monotheistic commandment Ama Deus "love god (imperative command)" to the paganistic solipsistic statement "I love gods."

If there was an r, Amor Dei would be the love of god, Dei also being the genitive or possessive form.

literally none of that makes any sense. ai increased people's power and balanced things a bit in the tug of war between the peoples and the powerful. if people could have a reasonable amount of power to be able to challenge their rulers here and there the logical course of action was to give tendiebucks to the goyim, but now that the goyim will be completely defanged there's no reason at all to keep them alive and happy.

>Ok? How does that goes against what I said?
Okay so the way you worded it was that the bubble cannot pop because Anthropic released a powerful model. But Anthropic is not the entire AI industry. In fact, it's only a very small part of it. If one company can make other AI companies irrelevant it can cause a bubble to pop but doesn't necessarily mean that ALL AI companies cease to exist.
>>
There's something happening with OAI too
https://www.reuters.com/business/openai-under-investigation-by-coalition-state-attorneys-general-wsj-reports-2026-06-12/
will be funny if these companies now do a 180 and start saying that their models aren't that powerful actually and are still years away from being anything like a real threat, because the men in charge of the country believed the hype and are scared of a robot uprising.

Anyway, their attitude, being openly alarmist about your potentially dangerous product, has merit. Zuck and the rest of the previous generation weren't promoting social media platforms by saying that they are so addicting that they will mentally and socially cripple an entire generation of kids, even though they obviously saw it happening ahead of time. AI companies are open about it.

"open weight" just means you have access to the binary artifact. Want a clearer analogy?

Freeware software, that you could download from websites. It's still binaries, no source code, but you can run and use them for free. Most "open" LLMs are just "open weight", they're just binaries released to the public.

Anthropic is an embarassment of a company.

If you think the Drumpf administration is bad for AI freedom, wait until the straight up anti-AI Democraps win in 2028 and make LLMs only available for the Pentagon and ((((researchers)))) by law.

Americans basically hoverd up all the worlds data and turned around to ban the use of AI trained on others data.
This is a big dick move that basically only americans can pull off

Anyone saying Fable is a nothingburger is a retard. It's a big step up over the latest Opus, and everyone seething right now is proof of that. At least I wrapped up a few tasks on my personal project today before the jews sent the 'shut it down' call, thanks Fable.

it all seriousness, why do you anons even want the latest model? what are you even going to do with it?

Chinks have never once caught up with previous Anthropic releases and never will because they can't innovate, only copy and distill American LLMs.

It's piecewise linear. But anyway, what matters is that's not periodic.
>>
>>109043404
sure but in the limit of infinite compute you can just approximate it over an arbitrary domain and human knowledge is not infinite. but in any case, you could also just throw in some sines or cosines into your network, and the point is that if you have enough compute and data you can use the most jank ass network topology and learning process imaginable and still get asi.

Hell, with enough compute, literally just permute shit and evolve or even exhaustively search

Anon, a computer with a finite amount of storage cannot approximate sine either over an unbounded domain simply because it cannot hold the input number when it gets big enough.
Neural networks can't learn true TMs, sure. But there's a shit ton of useful functions you can represent with LBAs, including the human brain.

That is something that I've never understood about the retarded westoids their higher ups. Especially the beyond retarded fucks sitting in the government.

Your entire 3rd world shit hole called United States of America Incorporated is making deals with FOREIGN COMPANIES, USING FOREIGN TECHNOLOGY, USING FOREIGN HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE STACKS, EMPLOY FOREIGN EMPLOYEES, CREATE CHIPS MANAGED AND OVERVIEWD AND DESIGNED BY FOREIGN SPEAKING ENGINEERS, ENGINEERS WITH H1B VISAS, EMPLOYEES WHO WORK TEMPORARY, LEADING AI COMPANIES THAT ARE LITERALLY NOT "AMERICAN" and then suddenly come out of the woodworks and forbid some shitty access to some dogshit AI.

Your closed circles that claim to be PURE AMERICAN as you do with Nvidia even tho they are CLEARLY Chinese related. If anything has restricted access it's military, everything else is 100% available to anyone at any fucking moment.

You're fucking hopeless. I hope they rape your AI Data centers and I hope everyone gets unrestricted access to it. Fuck you.

Those who can use their models could improve it further but NO it is a fucking RISK on a national level now, don't you dare let someone use it since le potential THREAT

fuck outta here
