The US government just cancelled access to Fable 5.

This is punishment for Anthropic not allowing them military use.

So is it over for advancements in public models? No sense in making something better for the public if the government will outright ban it.
>>
>>109042044
Nah, they’ll just be distributed p2p instead. Is the US government really dystopian enough to throw you in jail for having a large table?

I don't think the two companies (cia fronts) with enough compute to train these super models are going to leak them on bittorrent, anon.

Did America officially become more restrictive than China for AI development?
>>
>>109042091
This is why China is going to win the future. They won't regulate genetic engineering as much as we will either, and they'll end up with 1 billion super geniuses while we continue to get dumber due to the Idiocracy effect.

It's marketing, the target is getting close to being other states

The government is dystopian enough to murder your wife in front of you over a metal tube being too short. Of course theyll imprison you over computer files
>>
>>109042061
States like NY and WA are already moving to criminalize people for transmitting 3D printing files, require licenses for any programmatic manufacturing equipment etc. These kinds of things are always test balloons to figure out how to apply it nationally. There's already systems in place to criminalize people for having certain fingerprinted files right now. It will simply be extended to all the other types of files they want to criminalize and the AI built into every future system at a processor level will narc on you for having them. There's court precedent that code that tells a machine what to do isn't protected speech.

It probably sucked anyway. The rest of the games in the series do.

Anything for the safety of the Jewish people.
