Remember that VeraCrypt may fail to boot into Windows after (during?) this month June 2026 because of MS signing issue. If you're running Windows encrypted with VeraCrypt it's a good idea to read through this thread to see if you need to update anything. And backup your stuff of course, just in case.https://sourceforge.net/p/veracrypt/discussion/general/thread/9620d7a4b3/I have not seen much news coverage about this and had almost forgotten about it myself, so consider this a friendly reminder.

does this affect veracrypt FDE and if so, how?>inability to publish a new signed bootloader will definitely cause issues once the 2011 EFI CA is revoked later this year.why would win7/10's bootloader care?

Serious question: what are you encrypting, and from whom?Either you are in possession of some shit you really shouldn't be, or you are massively overestimating your own importance.

>>109059110>>109058087>androids10 long numeric password can be cracked in 10 sec on 300$ hardware
I use veracrypt on an external drive, while my boot drive is unencrypted. Easier to yank a USB out of its socket in a panic.
>>109050732This signing bullshit still hasn't been fixed?
>>109059528you're stuck in the past, it might be so for TrueCrypt but VeraCrypt has a PIM system with iterations on your password, meaning each password combination attempt will take ~1 sec to try if all algorithms need to be gone through. even more than 1 sec if the password is long and way more than 1 sec if a non-default PIM is used.
>>109050748>t. self reporting pedoYou're using encryption right now or what the fuck do you think SSL is?
>>109061763what the fuck did i just watch
>>109061763Android dont have it
>>109061773True but I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as site encryption is actually always decrypted and read by CloudFlare, who then encrypts the packet and sends it to the web server. HTTPS is not private unto itself, but just prevents more than 1 man in the middle from reading your communication with the website. It is like this for 20-25% of all websites, 4chan included (exhentai as well).
