Scanning these things always feels like a humiliation ritual. Did we really need this as a society?

Literally never used one. And I doubt I ever will need to.
>>109052060I have a QR code scanner in my screenshot tool, so I don't have a problem with them.
>>109052060>convenient>can store 3KB>is japanese inventiontf do you niggers want more?
>>109052690forgot one of the most important ones>error correction build in
>>109052060Never got the point of these
>>109052060No.
>>109052060I love qr codes.Linux AppStore = "Decoder". Great app, turn values into a qr code with a pretty GUI. I just created WLAN guest cards.
>>109052060blame this guy
>>109052060First off, they're just a symptom of some other problem. Like replacing waiters with an app. QRs just let you skip typing in a few letters, but otherwise the fundamental disrespect lies in the fact the process was chosen at all.Second, normies profoundly misunderstand the tech. Once I've sent a desktop application that lets you make QRs. I got back a question of where to register on that thing. They straight up reacted like native americans seeing ships.
>>109052060Would you rather type long URLs?
>>109054251This.
>>109054586Yes, that's definitely not a humiliation ritual too
>>109053901Drag-and-drop works with the scan tab.
