>>109067736>cancant
>>109067470the xir/xer lead of alpine linux considers xlibre to be transphobic because of reasons, no one knows what those reasons are as asking the reasons is an alpine linux CoC violation.
>>109067867>the xir/xer leadWHO IS THIS GUY?
>>109067446/g/ is not support for your IRC social drama
>>109067446This, gentlemen, is good gatekeeping at work.
>>109068953I thought this was the Lunduke episode idea suggestion form
>>109067867>xlibre to be transphobichow is xlibre "transphobic"?
>>109069570no one knows, asking that is forbidden by the alpine CoC
>>109070253no mailing list?
>a windowing system has a political opinion
>>109070253>alpine CoCwhat even the fuck is alpine code of conduct?
>>109070920https://alpinelinux.org/community/code-of-conduct.htmlfrom what i understand they weren't happy with how xlibre's readme originally said;>"It doesn't matter which country you're coming from, your political views, your race, your sex, your age, your food menu, whether you wear boots or heels, whether you're furry or fairy, Conan or McKay, comic character, a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri, or just an boring average person. Anybody who's interested in bringing X forward is welcome."along with saying they want xlibre to be apolitical and dei-free.which is really no different to their own CoC. ironically people like the ones running alpine claim to be open to people of different beliefs, but only it seems if they don't conflict with their own.people who claim to be so "welcoming and diverse" should not be judging people for how they act in other communities. they can of course moderate their own community how they like, but rejecting xlibre because some people who like it say things alpine doesn't like elsewhere is just silly to me.
