It's really hard for normies to communicate, especially if they're in a position of perceived power. >>109075246on one hand i do get why they do that, it's similar to how password reset forms won't tell you if a reset email was actually successfully sent or not, because if it did, an attacker could use that information to check if a list of emails has accounts on that service. it forces users to have to read all the rules rather than just the one rule they broke.... on the other hand, sometimes you did read all the rules and thought you were following them and still get warned/banned. it can sometimes be hard to follow the rules if you don't know how you broke one, or the rules are ambiguous enough that what is considered breaking a rule differs between you and the mod.
