First, RDNA 2 hardware lacks dedicated AI accelerators within the GPU microarchitecture. This means that RDNA 2 GPUs will rely on the Stream Processors in the GPU configuration to power FSR 4.1 upscaling. As a result, the raw GPU compute, without any additional AI compute, will be responsible for the upscaling model. This requires a great deal of optimization to make the process work efficiently. AMD claims that making FSR 4.1 upscaling consume fewer shader cycles is very challenging. Therefore, AMD is taking more time to optimize this but plans to launch support sometime in 2027. And since its so raw compute heavy process they're not talking about igpus at all

>>109081911I don't know but we've been getting scammed with monitors our whole lives.CRT to LCD was acceptable because flat screens are cool.but TN being abandoned tech, and now OLED, disposable hardware meant to be replaced as frequently as a laptop or phone, is the new standard, just...

I want to build a new PC.Provide specific use cases: gaming, coding maybe some SWE or data related stuff cuz I'm a math student, also I want to play with AIState BUDGET and COUNTRY: budget, 20k -25k MXN for reamining parts. I also want to upgrade from a GTX 1660 to an rtx5070ti or rtx5080 in the future. I may go dual GPU for PhysX. Also the currrent pc storage will be used for the new rig.Does the build provide the best price to performance given the price or can it be improved? Is the build ready for an RTX5080 and dual GPU? I know they are big, but I'm not sure if it will fit on the case.I don't intend too overclock, I'm fine with the manufacturer tunning options.I'll keep an eye for any suggestions, I don't have much information regarding brands and which ones to avoid.

>>109086788Run latencymon and use your computer for like 2 minutes then stop it and check out the dpc/isr of each core on the CPU tab. The two biggest source of interrupts are likely going to be your Mouse and GPU in the driver tab. You put your USB controller the mouse is plugged into on the core with the least dpc/isr usage. GPU is a bit tricky as theres one specific core it works best on and it's different for every system but you can refer to CPPC in Hwinfo64 or Ryzen Master to give you a hint of your best core and then put it on that. >>109086306That rationale doesn't make a difference. The attribute being graphed around is decibels. If Noctua has made a generational leap in AIO heat exchange performance then they would be better on both graphs. Look at Canucks' graph again; you can read it as noise normalized just by looking at the spread of temperatures along a vertical line at each decibel level. There is a discrepancy, everyone else can see that. If HardwareCanucks tested their LC1-36 and got 65C at 40 decibels, temperatures BELOW the best result of the 2nd place GA II Lite Perf which can spin up to 47dBA, then it is directly disagreeing with TPU's testing that says that 7 other AIOs can reach a lower temperature at 45dBA.In this scenario, the unknown factors that could contribute to this is the exact heat generation method (is one of them not soaking for long enough?) and ambient temperature (perhaps Noctua's LC1s have better performance ceilings with lower air temps).
