With the glyph lights and pseudo-transparent backs and futuristic patterns they went for, it was the biggest company I was aware of doing something like y2k-futurism. But their latest phone don't have glyphs or a transparent back, it's just an plain aluminum rectangle. Yet most people online are praising it for being "the most beautiful nothing phone yet" and it makes me sad.
