We’ll never get a PC that looks better than this one.

I have that one. The problem is there's no third party battery solution and the OG batteries are all shot by now.

Well, you could build one yourself using an overpriced SBC

use case?

This kind of form factor will be great but you need a window manager built around it instead of trying to cram a desktop one onto it

I really want that or something like that as an "ssh into vim" machine. Closest thing that's practically available is a phone with a bluetooth keyboard.

There's no point in this E-Waste

I don't think your reply is serious, but just in case it is, these are for pragmatic purposes, not attention. I do think you are seeking attention though.

Sony design was otherworldly in the 00s. The designs were so good. My 2001 Vaio running XP still rivals MacBooks in design.

Awfully cramped. I'd want a full size laptop for an ssh into vim machine.

I have the Gemini PDA. A real shame that Planet Computers went full scam mode after their deal with a Chinese manufacturer got ruined. The Astro Slide 5G is a vaporware product now, last update in 2023.
Some people are still expecting their keyboard phone after 5 fucking years: https://www.indiegogo.com/en/projects/planetcomputers/astro-slide-5g-transformer/comments
I was one of the few people who got a refund.
Anyway, my point is: don't buy that or anything else from Planet Computers. There's no software updates, nothing. The best thing about this was being able to boot a normal Linux OS, but the kernel is not mainlined because it's MediaTek trash.

I essentially have that phone's predecessor (basically the same keyboard) and it is surprisingly good for typing.
It easily beats a touchscreen keyboard, especially if you have bigger hands like me.

a netrunner utilizing a full sized keyboard will have greater bandwidth

Post your MacBook Air.

Yeah you probably should in case you drop it.

MBAs are great laptops no doubt, but the Sony VAIO line had sovl that modern computers lack.
