What are some shortcuts to riches in tech. Something a layman can give a shot to, something that requires none or little prerequisite knowledge. There has to be open problems or something like that, has anyone even made a list of all CS related contests going on? There obviously should be, how are ppl supposed to find them. I missed one from anas archive by a few days.

Build a decent PC rig capable of inference, learn how it operates and how to run models on it. In 5-6 years your skills will be in great demand. Filters out the poorfags too because you need $3000 at the very least for a good enough PC
