GrapheneOS is still the most private and secure option there is. If you haven't made the switch, you are literally cattle.

Where is the Linux equivalent?

Probably Qubes? Mobile OSs kinda just have more security baked into them from the ground up, thanks to having been designed decades later, well into the internet era. So we might not in our lives see such a plug and play level of security available on an actual desktop OS (chromeos etc need not apply)

Yes but in some aspects Graphene is still better, while it lacks configurability
>>

Last I tried it doesn't support my country's national digital identification, which is a deal breaker considering how extremely important it is for daily life.

QubesOS or Secureblue (I don't trust them though)

It's the other way around. Your country's national ID verification doesn't support GrapheneOS. It relies on less secure, proprietary attestation.

That was the idea,
The caveat being this would be the last phone unless victory was achieved

ELSAG also picks up the signal from your device and links it to your license plate
>>

I think OP is trolling and making graphene users second guess

I'm not. The latest developments in mass surveillance made me post this thread

qubes is a meme unless you're a threat model that includes the feds kicking your door down. regular linux is fine if you don't click on every .exe you see.
