Weird thing anons and I'm unsure if I'm lucky, unlucky or it works as intended.

I ran ST yesterday after months of not using it (my setup was using free models, specifically Deepseek, through Open Router).
To my surprise it connected and worked out of the box. No issues, I could gen whatever I wanted.
But today I checked the actual model I'm connected to and it's... not actually free?
I logged into my OR account to see that I have -0.11$ on my credits. The thing is, I only used free shit till now, never linked any payment method whatsoever (I just made a few account to cycle through them whenever I hit a limit).

So I'm surprised to see I was able to "spend" some money. Did OR changed some shit or they allow you to go into credit or something?
I can't imagine how could they got their money back, since my account is a throwaway gmail one with no real data or payments link to it.

And now I'm afraid to actually change the model/key so I won't lose my leeching privileges until they cut me off.

DeepSeek seems to be having an identity crisis.

I've been using chub off and on, and also set up a local SillyTavern instance to be able to dabble into more features with my own hardware, but I've been considering looking into a paid option instead of slumming it with chub's free tier or just what my hardware can manage locally.
