I'm trying to decide what my new laptop should be. I was gonna go with Windows but Windows 11 is terrible and insanely annoying. I find it unusable. What is /g/ using. I already have a PC. The laptop will mostly be used outside of the house.

Left Windows after Win11 made everything turbo bloated. Tried Linux out, it was alright but I ran into the usual annoyances setting up and working with my dev environment. Gave Mac a try out of curiosity and it's been my favorite. So I got an Air, working really well. I can have multiple IDEs up, Codex, browser, doesn't get hot at all.

All the M processor Macbooks have great battery life, which is a massive selling point. I have an M1 Pro for my music making, I'm not sold on the operating system but the hardware is nice.
