Why can't we just have IRC without the retardness from the 80s, I mean enforced use of vhost, no activity timeouts and chat history, native file support, etc...Every damn new chat system has to be this super secure E2E, decentralized, federalized clusterfuck that justs steers people back to discord.

fluxer is basically discord circa 2018, and seems to be run by an organisation that won't ACK or enshittify its service in the foreseeable futureotherwise just use a third party client for discord or at least use a mod like aliucord for android or vencord for your browser. don't use the desktop version, its electron slop that takes its sweet time to update every 2-3 days
