probably pick a cloud provider and build something on it thats public facing. Some hobby website will teach you enough to do 90% of any cloud work youd do on a real job

How to be the "ai guy" for a company. Learn everything you can about it and how to leverage it to increase production output with less employees, BUT make yourself indispensable; don't teach them SHIT about ai so they can't operate without you

>like what
make a website with a counter and a single button, and any time anyone presses the button the counter goes up for everyone. bonus points if its real-time without refreshing. Sounds easy but you will very quickly learn about costs, serverless, roles, queues, etc..
>what provider
AWS or GCP. Read up on budget alerts before you start

Poor and unemployed or have money and unemployed?

For poors, get into microcontrollers, repurposing older/cheap hardware, flashing firmware and reverse engineering.

If you have money, get into AIs, specifically local AIs. Buy or build a high end system ($5000-10,000) install different open sourced AI models and adjust weights to understand capabilities. Eventually you'll want to self host. Buy a domain ($12/year) and a VPS (lowest cost ones) set up a secure front end with reverse proxy to your system. Test with self, then share with 1-2 friends, and see where it goes. Maybe people will like it and start donating.

how are you accessing AI? I use TOR and VPN to use Gemini. Is this a good tactic to avoid fingerprinting etc.?
