is the entire distro packaged like the AUR? who approves nix packages? does anyone actually vet those? won't these nix packages inevitably bloat my system (hard drive space and ram), and will i have to learn a new language to configure my system? can i install packages as simply as sudo apt install nick-gurr? and why would I use nix over guix?
