Is there anything as good as this available on linux?

>>109101973I tried over 15 Linux players: There isn't.Go with Tauon because it at least looks somewhat similar to it, but it is still playlist based and not library manager.
>>109101973I've heard improving reports of how it performs through Wine, but I suspect there are probably a lot of lesser-used features that'd be fucked. Worth a try though, since it apparently works well enough for some people.
>>109101973The interface looks like it was designed by jeets. Why the fuck would you want that?
I know its not the prettiest but I really do like Strawberry
>>109102225looks great on Mate. Matches the aesthetic.
>>109102192I tried it, it works but wouldn't recognize multimedia keys.
>>109102244I do like its interface myself, I just had to put myself into a MusicBee user's perspective since they can customize it with skins (even though its entirely bloat)
>>109101973Navidrome with a Feishin front-end is nice if you want something visual. Navidrome also has the benefit of being able to self-host across your network or online, but even if you don't have a need for that I still recommend it.
I think MusicBee worked on wine.
I have a server PC in my home and I host navidrome off of it. I refuse to pay subscription service to Spotify and I definitely am not buying Youtube Premium for ad-free Youtube Music. Navidrome has a ton of companion apps, so I have clients on my other PCs and my smartphone for driving. Self-hosted and I only have to sync one library. You don't need a lot, either. Go buy like a cheap office PC or Raspberry PI or some shit and host your own navidrome.
>>109101973I have never heard of this. are you just making shit up to demoralize loonix users? that would be funny.
what a weird piece of software.I prefer my file manager and my audio player separate.
>@grok whats musicbee?Even if there isnt a alternative (very unlikely) there are translation layers to allow you to run the app.
>>109101973In terms of features, Strawberry is the closest thing you're gonna find.>>109102225>>109102244A good theme and icon set goes a long way to prettying up Strawberry.
>>109102255you can always resend your keys to it using xdotool or something.
Clementine.
For me it's Fooyin, it's not as good as musicbee, and in fact musicbee is the program i miss the most from windows, but fooyin is good enough. I tried every other player i could find and was unhappy with all of them, poretty much all music players on linux is either bare bones as fuck or is so fucking UGLY.I even tried running musicbee in wine, and it works but it has various small bugs that makes it shit to useHad to fiddle a bit with fooyin as well to get it to look kind of how i want, but it's still not as nice as musicbee, but at least it doesn't look like garbage like strawberry and the likes for example
