thinking of getting a new provider; don't like starlink. Dish got fucked by a storm, don't want to buy another kit for just a stupid dish, location isn't good for it anyways because of trees. Any recommendations? What providers do you guys like? And any of them good for privacy, not needing me to buy a whole new kit/machine/whatever when something breaks, etc? I'm not very tech literate, so thought I'd ask. (I swear if I have to scroll through eight more years of dogshit youtube videos with some hokey asshole gaping his mouth like a retard I'm going to kms.)
>>109103025Did you try buying just a dish and replacing the damaged one.
>>109103039I can’t, apparently the dishes need to be paired with their router from some number ID built into them or something. I haven’t tried it yet I admit, but after hearing that and looking at dish prices, I’m not sure if I want to throw money at the problem just to have it break again or still be broken.
