>>109104597For some reason or another this has been a common thing with macbooks, even the old ones with upgradeable storage, hell those old non-retina ones you could even replace the dvd drive with another ssd if you wanted and people still stuck external drives to the back. Of course now with non-upgradeable drives and the outrageous prices Apple charges for more capacity it's the obvious solution.
