You can't
120hz screen
99Wh battery (with ARM optimization, so you actually get benefits of a large battery)
>>
>>109104175
>120hz
why would I need this on anything but a gaming machine?
>>
>>109104184

>>
>>109104191
do you only use your laptop to view powerpoints
>>
>>109104258
Nah, he probably also looks at static web pages and videos that are all 24, 30 or 60FPS.
>>

Are you mentally ill brown person?
When you press space you are scrolling the website.
You have the same 60hz animation as someone who uses mouse wheel.
>>
>>109104509
do you have some gay ass smooth scrolling activated that won't just immediately display the lower part and show you some slow ass animation first?

why not put the ssd inside the computer
>>
>>109104597
Because laptops are cramped ass monstrosities made out of glass, battery and glue
>>
>>109104654
maybe not make it super thin
are you trying to fit it inside your slim jeans or something
>>
>>109104684
People decided the like super thin laptops so it is what it is.
>>
>>109104597
For some reason or another this has been a common thing with macbooks, even the old ones with upgradeable storage, hell those old non-retina ones you could even replace the dvd drive with another ssd if you wanted and people still stuck external drives to the back. Of course now with non-upgradeable drives and the outrageous prices Apple charges for more capacity it's the obvious solution.

Macs come with SSDs, but they also feature proprietary NANDs.
You can only swap out the SSD in Mac Minis(with flashed NANDs bought from Xina).
If you don't want to pay apple tax on storage, you use external one.
>>
>>109104774
Even though you can do internal with the mini the external almost makes more sense. Wish someone would make an enclosure the same footprint and siomilar look to the mini itself so it would stack nicely, then maybe an audio interface that's again the same footprint and similar enclosure... Just have a nice little computer stack.

gay ming

Use case for a battery?
60 Hz monitors on desktops until I die :P
>>
>>109104088
I've bought 2 apple products in my life and I'm fucking NEVER buying another one.

>m1 series
about a year left of current version os support, moving to security updates at apple's new reduced support rates
>>
>>109104509
No, I don't. When I press space or page down, it goes down a page in a single screen refresh. Why would this be animated?
>>
>>109104184
i use a 280hz monitor for counter-strike, now i get the ick whenever i move the cursor on my 144hz laptop
120hz or lower is unusable for anything more than work in the terminal
