I never owned a smartwatch before.
What's the best one for business? I need one for notifications, texting, calls. So basically office work.
Is the Huawei GT series any good for this or are they mainly for fitness?

Hijacking your thread with a semi-related topic. Is there a fitness watch that does NOT vibrate? Fitbit doesn't allow you to completely turn off retarded "progress" notifications.

This bout binnis not spohts

There could be crossover. My wife gets a discount on health insurance for wearing a fitness tracker.

I FORGOT TO MENTION
NO APPLE PRODUCTS

Smartwatches are a meme, use your phone.

I have a phone but I want a smartwatch aswell
>>

When my Android 10 device dies I'm getting a dumb phone.
>>
>>109105555
Tell me you're a lazy slob without telling me
Smartwatches are great for sports tracking
>>
>>109105753
But for what exactly? Serious question. I understand it for runs. But the rest..? No idea what I should do with the tracked data. I use one of the damned things for nearly 4 years and I still don’t “get” it. I can understand if your old or need the gamification as motivation, but I will sport with or without the thing regardless. So enlighten me. As for OP, doing business on a watch is retarded and when I see you finger your watch during a meeting with me I would drop you from my considerations. Its rude and unnecessary.
>>
I also wonder how useful are those watches that have WearOS, are they even worth the money for that "Phone android" experience?
>>
>>109107119
Its useful if you do lots of different things like hiking, kayaking, cycling and in many different places because than you get to keep track of that history
>>

for business: use pen and paper, or use your phone.
unless you are using it for fitness, these are incredibly expensive wireless dongles with short lifetimes and support windows.
>>

For what purpose though? Just to keep a record?
>>
>>109108978
Do you people not understand that I need a smartwatch
>>
>business
i thought you were unemployed?

Yeah pr if you are on holiday somewhere and come back a couple years later you can see what trips you've already done

My wife bought the Galaxy Watch 7 or 8 I'm not sure. She likes it, I used it for a few runs and it works well, not sure what you wanna do with it.

You can also get it with cellular so you can make calls and message without a phone, pretty neat
>>

Emails, messages and calls if I can see pictures aswell on it, it would be great since I need to see documents
>>
>>109105555
I use my watch far more than I use my phone and frankly I wish the watch worked independently.

>I need one for notifications, texting, calls
no, you don't. at least admit to yourself you just want a new shiny toy.
>>

I do, it's more discreet than a phone and it also benefits me when driving
