How many spare power cords do you keep in your house?
>>109107208you mean how many boxes of them?
>>109107208Not enough!
>>109107208
>>109107208Not enough because I gave two to a friend in need.
>>109107222This used to make perfect sense before everything got standardized to use USB-C.You never knew which of the 100+ different barrel plugs you might need one day.
>>109107262I forgot all about the post-USB-C technological rapture where all devices without USB-C just vanished into thin air
>>109107272Fair enough, I'll hold on to my power adapter collection for another 20 years or so.
>>109107208every high IQ individual understands that the price of hording all those cords is insignificant compared to the humiliation of being in need of a cord that you foolishly discarded on a whim.
>>109107392I live in a rental apartment and charge all my stuff "rent".Anything costing more in imaginary "rent" than to buy back after a couple of years I throw away. That said I reserve three drawers for various cables and adapters - I'm not mad.
>>109107208Which power cords? Wall to C13? C13 extender/interconnect? C5 / C7 for laptop PSUs and other small devices? Or do you mean various generic barrel plug PSUs too? Oh but there are also USB cables that only have power wires, not data. Technically that's power cords too.Anyway, the answer is never enough, that's why I got label printer and bulk order cardboard boxes.
>>109107222I have a large collection. When my dad dies, it will double.
>>109107208Imagine living in the edge without safety cables? Absolute madness!
