Ok, so when you right click, copy image on a GIF it just copies the current frame to the clipboard, so you'd need another method of getting the GIF for pasting to file.

In fact, if you're on Windows and don't mind temporary files, you can copy the image/gif url directly into the file browser and Windows 10 (and 11, dunno about 7) will just make a temporary file in an old Internet Explorer folder (at least I believe that's what the IE stands for there) and upload the file to 4chan.
