10G? Why not 11G?
>>

+$0.50
>>

The West has fiber. Whatever it is that you're trying to troll with is shown as a wireless standard, which will always be inferior to wired.
>>
>>109131728
10/10gbit internet? great for them.

had that since 2020 and it's only 10 not 25/25gbit because i couldn't be arsed to spend on 25gbit hardware
>>
>>109131728
it can go up to 50g btw, the west is unironically cooked
>>
they can download goyslop in seconds instead of minutes... how will the west ever recover?
>>
>>109131879
We also have that... technically I think it's more the 40gbit PON on standard contract for small businesses (~$150/month it's exchange rate dependent tho) but you could make a deal to run 4x100gbit or w/e I suppose.

Still, glad for the Chinese, especially if this actually means P2P PON (like, the individual customer has that 10 or 50gbit wire directly to the big data router).

Can somebody tell me why amerigoycattle so fervently defend their internet speeds, of 5G (actually 3G LTE) with hard data caps and high premiums so much? Why is "better, faster, cheaper" so bad? Is it because it hurts corporations and billionaires, which means it could hurt them because they also think they could be billionaires?
>>
>>109131728
Parts of usa have had that for a while. The issue is the place you download from probably wont serve it to you at that rate anyway.

I agree... Confuciousc say the gwailo who dont eat bat... will eat eat his hat...
Very honorbaru china saying

why only 10g? why not 100000000g? china is weak
>>
>>109132043
It's like a sort of Stockholm syndrome. Can't admit you're a stupid goysoomer that will take whatever they give you or admit that some countries do better in some areas, so what are you left with? "And that's a good thing" type cope.
I'm an American and our internet is fucking trash. I pay like $100/month and I don't even know what speed it is because it doesn't matter to how often it fucking hangs or shuts off. And cellular is even worse, I don't even know whey I pay for a cell plan, I almost always get very little signal and can barely make a call or look shit up on the internet if I'm not on wifi, And again, I'm paying a ridiculous amount for this shit service.

Americans were so cocky and then even my shithole outpaced them.

XITTER! SCREENSHIT! THREAD!

I will send the Chinese Army to kill you for this post! the real new Chinese internet is 1927G as this is the Year Mao started liberating China.
>>
>>109131728
I have a 1gbps connection, I normally get 100 megabytes per second download speed, typical 4 gb hevc rip takes 40 seconds
>>
>>109131862
Yes we have lots of fiber, especially in the west. We call those dark fiber because federally funded programs to the ISP stipulated they had to lay X amount of fiber, and so they did in the middle of nowhere unconnected.

Its 2026 and I can't get fiber internet in a large city
>>
>>109131728
I've had 10G Ethernet for 2 years now, OP is a brown faggot.
>>
>>109131728
10 gigabit internet?
that's big but I'm happy with 1 gigabit
>>
>>109131728
Movies from where? No free server would offer 10G.

suka.blyat.idi.nahui.x264.4k

internet or lan? the latter is not internet.
>>
>>109132581
except cellular network are really bad for torrenting.

cellular networks exceed as local CDN. basically cloudflare pays telecom operators so that their content is locally cached on antennas. that's how you can get very cheap high quality video streaming, without inducing a large cost on your server (e.g video is cached into antenna because someone just watched it, then others can access the file very efficiently).

10gbps internet is a meme otherwise because there's very little support for speeds above 1gbps when downloading from servers
>>
>>109131728
I love this kind of hype
>*can be*
And then it turns out *but never will be*
>>
Nice but US has Starlink which is a global network that gives 400Mbps anywhere on earth with ~20 ms latency

> 10gbps internet is a meme otherwise because there's very little support for speeds above 1gbps when downloading from servers
It's probably something related to multichannel protocols that allow to serve large amounts of clients. And hardware vise it's a router with a lot of antennas to cover large radio frequency range.
Single client would usually have just 1,2 or 3 antennas (6GHz is latest hotness).
>>
>>109132872
But you probably don't have a sub for one?
>>
>>109131728
Americans have a trillionaire

>>109132676
internet, for all. 10/10, 25/25gbit AND the 40gbit "small enterprise" connection. and the 1-4x100gbit or w/e that they do tend to have but is a "contact sales" type of thing.

It's amazing how literally, LITERALLY all it takes is a screencap of a blue checkmark account saying something for cattle to believe it.
>>
>>109132881
makes more sense
at 10gbps you start getting speeds that most devices cannot handle properly
