will age verif happen even if it's on an old version like ios 17?

>>109137167
to use tiktok, instagram, youtube or other age redtricted app in countries that passed laws forcing it you gotta verify regardless if you have iOS or Android. everyone knows this. op is a misinformation posting flamewar starter.

Finally got that second A52s 5G, this will be my first time installing a custom ROM and I'm trying to figure out what to use, I think I will need some play services compatibility so is microG for LineageOS the best option?

>Smaller than iPhone 13 mini: Enough Phone promises long battery life and screw-on back cover

>Smartphones have gotten so big that the Apple iPhone 17 ($729 on Amazon), with a screen diagonal of 6.3 inches, is already one of the most compact smartphones on the market. Things were quite different just a few years ago – from the iPhone 4’s 3.5-inch display to the iPhone 5’s 4-inch display, the iPhone 6’s 4.7-inch screen, and the iPhone 13 mini’s 5.4-inch touchscreen, smartphones have continued to grow in size over the years.

>A startup called Enough Phone aims to buck this trend. The Enough Phone is designed to have a screen size of just 5.2 inches, making it easy to operate with one hand. The Enough Phone is set to be funded "soon" via Kickstarter. Aside from a schematic illustration showing a smartphone with just one rear camera, a screw-on back cover, and a flat metal frame, the company has so far confirmed very few details about the Enough Phone’s features or design.

>However, it is said to be a small “premium smartphone” that is still affordable – a somewhat roundabout way of describing a mid-range smartphone. Given the compromises that buyers of the Apple iPhone 13 mini had to accept, the Enough Phone is said to prioritize long battery life and a high-quality camera. The smartphone is said to utilize “premium components” and give users the choice between a standard Android version and a minimalist user interface with fewer distractions. Enough Phone has not yet confirmed when the Kickstarter campaign for the smartphone will launch.

So I was planning on updating my Samsung Flip 5 to the Fold 8 next month but the fucking thing is shutting off when I close it now. Anyone know a case that can keep the thing open and safe?

Pretty sure xiomi is there and not huawei because although it is also chinese, it sounds less terrible. Chinese companies' biggest foe is Chinese language. Nobody likes it. Nobody likes the disgusting abomination that English lang is, but it just happened to be lingua franka already, can't be helped.

does anyone use cracked apks? I installed a cracked app of Duolingo who's local progress data is stored in an unexportable way to the user alone. I wanted to try updating it but I don't want to risk losing my progress, I would rather keep going without updates than lose the progress, even if the purpose is more sentimental than anything. I have to figure out which repacker did it, but otherwise how do I go about manually updating?
>>
>>109140618
correct me where I am wrong. They can't just make the already released versions no longer open source, right? You just fork off the last public build and go it alone from there.

to answer your question: get a vanilla rom and install two apks from microg repo

How does every time it's sunny in the UK everyone starts dying but somehow nothing seems to happen with the over 40C it's doing here in southern europe every summer?

Its gonna die FAST my flip 4 had the same problem and it completely stopped working in like two days. Shit got in the hinge and was just wearing out the cable that runs through it more and more every time it was opened or closed. Get a new phone ASAP. I have an old galaxy I use as a backup phone just in case. It saved my ass when my flip 4 died.
I have a flip 5 because im reckless I guess and flip phones are very cool
>>
>>109141948
Similar position. Was leaning pixel with graphene but it’s still jewgle. I can’t make up mind so may just wait til next years ‘rola graphene phone. Alternatively get a flip phone with a new number to wean my self off of my iPhone
>>
Talk me out of getting a Pixel 9 XL with graphene
>>
Also, what is photo quality like when on graphene?

Are phones more durable nowadays? Got a phone in a nice colour and want to use it without a case but worried about scratches on the camera bump and stuff, or is that not really much of a concern anymore?

>>109145902
Xiaomi phones are indestructible. I broke 4 different Samsung phones for the last 10 years.

What's the best phone to get which has a dedicated AI chip? I'm leaning pixel but not sure which one. I like to do computation and run local models on my phone for media workflows.
>>
>>109146313
Snapdragon still has the best NPU. Pixel having a better NPU than the competition is mostly marketing bullshit.

Snapdragon needs a cooler for it to not over heat and crash though with demanding tasks. My OnePlus 15 crashes all the time when it's getting stressed out.

Is graphene worth it tho? I’ve been thinking about trying Jolla with their sailfish os(linux)
>>

Only Sony phones remain, I consider them based on being nonconforming. Are they durable? Worth the snoy tax?

My last one (1 II) lasted 4yrs. I like the new one so far (one random restart during camera startup). Not much to remove via ADB, quite clean OS (only MetaGoy services).

Are social media apps still much better on ios than android, or are they pretty comparable now?

Does anyone else find iOS 26.5+ to be the worst fucking thing ever? Keyboard input skips letters, screen reads the wrong inputs, shit pops up on the screen or the screen shifts right as I’m tapping and it takes me to another app or website. It’s abysmal. How is their technology just getting worse?
