The choice that enrages balding millenials.

a wireless keyboard at a desk seems kinda retarded unless aesthetics are important to you, a wireless mouse though is objectively better in every way. before wireless mouses people would use mouse bungees and shit to mitigate the cord annoyances and it never worked perfectly, I used to bluetack part of the cord to the back of the desk
Wireless actually has less lag because it's light traveling in a direct line vs wired which is electricity traveling through a curved wired.
My Bluetooth driver would constantly drop the connection when I used to use windows. Rollback, update, reinstall, didn’t matter. I just decided wired bc it was less hassle. I also disliked having to re-pair a Bluetooth mouse when I switch computers. Some Linux distros also fail to recognize the track pad of laptops during installation. A wired mouse is good to have on hand.
>>109137572Wireless mouse + headsetWireless keyboards are retarded unless you're using it with a laptop or something
>>109137572Wired keyboard, wireless mouse.
batteries are bloat for stationary electronics. Wireless is a zoomer fad.
>>109138533this. wireless also introduces noticeable lag
>>109137572Wireless with wired being a bonus option.
>>109137572For mice it really just comes down to if you wanna have to plug it in all the time or not to charge it.Keyboard I don't really see the point of unless you have a couch keyboard/mousepad combo for controlling media.Wireless headsets can fuck off, I think they just sound too bad but if they can fix that I don't see an issue.
>>109137572Why does it enrage us?I'm a balding millennial and I use a wired TKL and a wireless mx master 2s mouse. Does the needful innit?
>>109137788>a wireless keyboard at a desk seems kinda retarded unless aesthetics are important to you, a wireless mouse though is objectively better in every way./thread
>>109137572if you think about it, users are also wireless.
I’m not balding so I’m not enraged
>>109137572how so?ive used both wired until a couple of years ago and switched to wireless and for most of my use its a very small tradeoff
>>109137572wired keyboard, wired mouse and wireless headset is the only correct combination.
>>109137572wireless used to be garbage but now cheap peripherals have rechargeable batteries and type-c ports that are usable while charging. I switched 6 months ago and havent had to charge anything yet
>>109140185I do the opposite of this kek, wireless audio sucks balls. mouse and keyboard is like 5 bytes of data so it really doesnt matter
>>109137572wireless is jew shit made to break, wired last forever
wired everything except the mouse because the cord gets in the way
>>109137788>never worked perfectlyNo, there is another.
>>109140453that's funny because my wired mouse died after 7 months while my wireless G309 works since release without any problems.
>>109137857> I also disliked having to re-pair a Bluetooth mouse when I switch computersPretty easy with Logi bolt, swapping between the 3 computers at my desk is seamless I used to use a KVM switch but that was clunky.
>>109137572I need my things to work properly 24/7 without any issues, not a single wireless thing except mobile wifi will be had under my roof.
anything wireless has to much lag input, if you have the mouse+headphone wireless combo, you click, see the shot one second after and then hear it two seconds after.
>>109137572those penis mice on the top left are the most awkward things to use if you are using someone elses. Back when i did IT support some boomer had one and sitting in his office with him standing over me while i grasped my fingers around his 5" shaft and gently moved my wrist back and forth was the gayest thing ive done without spreading my cheeks. what was your question?
>>109137788I've never had issues with wires. It sits in an s shape at the top of my desk and doesn't provide any resistance. The mouse is lighter, and I don't have a battery to charge.
>>109137806The latency comes from the signal being converted into the wireless signal, then back again.
>>109137572I never want to recharge anything, ever. Wires are cozy. I love the tangled mess. They have become my nest.
>>109137572> not balding> not enragedChecks out. My mouse moves are fast and furious, so wired mice are not for me - they just feel awkward. For keyboards, I don't rly care either way. Prefer mecha over rubber dome tho, so I'm more likely to end up with a wired board.

>>109137926this
>>109137572Wired keyboard since wireless keyboards are stupidWired mouse since Deathadder V3 wired is the best mouse created in the history of man
Balding zoomers getting blasted with microwaves because wires give them the ick cope lmao
>>109142907cable drag
>>109140476The damn clicks die way to often on these. I burn thru them in about a year.
>>109144447Yep. I'm wired all the way, still have a full head of hair, getting trips on like every post, living the life.
>>109137572I'm a millennial and wired keyboard wireless mouse. i remember when wireless mice were fucking dog shit I threw mine across the room destroying it. i dont see the point in a wireless keyboard when its not really wireless in the first place. you still have to charge it. its stationary. why bother? if the they had wireless charging pads that went under large mousepads i might consider it.
Never having to deal with batteries make wire superior. One problem I've been having with my mouse is interference from other USB ports, I have to separate its cable from the rest or I start having issues like jittering.
>>109144555YUGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
>>109144447it's weird how shit zoomers ageI've seen bald zoomers 10 years younger than me that actually look older than me
>>109137788I never have trouble with my wired mouse, and it never needs charging either.
>Wire>WirelessBut what about Wirelots?
>>109137572Wired everything except headphones.
Wireless headphones (SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7)Wireless keyboard (Keychron K5 Max)Wireless mouse (Keychron M3)Everything works flawlesslyWireless antis are living in the past when wireless was shit
When I'm sitting at my desk I use cables, when I'm sitting in my armchair I use a wireless keyboard that sits on my lap and a wireless Xbox 360 controller which is configured like a mouse with additional stuff like LT+RT = Alt+Tab.Unironically just depends on the use case.
>>109137572>wired keeb>wireless mousefinal redpill
>>109144700>be me, 22>could reasonably pass for a 15yo, stillso just what are they putting in the fucking water over in muttmerica
>>109144532yeah. i've got one of those, a switch died after a month.luckily i had a vintage intellimouse with a broken shell to donate some nice beefy switches to the cause.
wireless shit doesn't work and you have to change batteries.
>>109145770Wired mice have more cpi.
>>109137572Why would it?
>>109140476Why all modern trackballs look so gay?
It's all I need.
>>109150231Sounds like cope or bait
Why on earth would you want to buy something that you need to charge or put batteries into?
