Do people actually sleep with their smartwatch on? I tried one night and it was the most uncomfortable thing ever. I don't really give a shit about sleep metrics anyway. I doubt it would do me any good to know that stuff. I already have a fucked-up sleep schedule.

the smartwatch goes on the penis when sleeping

What did you want to achieve with this thread?
Is it merely a place for you to blogpost?

Anon, you should really reflect on yourself and your life decisions which made you come to the conclusion to post such a meaningless thread.
Honestly are you this retarded or are you so starved from attention and social contact that (you) need validation from /g/ on your purchase of a smartwatch?
On the topic of smartwatches they are utterly useless pieces of garbage.

Do you need to monitor your heartrate constantly?
No

Is there an advantage with a smartwatch over a traditional mechanical watch?
No.

What did you want to achieve by replying to this thread? Is it merely for you to express your dumbass opinion? A large majority of people own smartwatches, so you can call it what you want, but that doesn't make it a fact.

Just because stuff are used, doesn't mean it's of meaningful purpose or function.
It may even have the opposite effect, being detrimental.

Okay, well that's your opinion. A smartwatch does dozens of things that a mechanical watch can't do, and that's fine if you just wanted a watch to tell time and wear as a fashion piece. Smartwatches can be both and more. Let people wear what they want and don't be a jackass about it. It's not your money. Why do you care?

Stick with your walkman, vinyl's, mechanical watch, and flip-phone. I know technology must be a frightening thing for you.

>Smartwatches can be both and more.
Such as?
And please give meaningful functions and not some gimmick.
>Let people wear what they want and don't be a jackass about it. It's not your money. Why do you care?
Technology have ways of forming civilizations, peoples and their outcome, as such any technological development is of utmost importance to be looked at and evaluated if it's of use and benefit for man.

I sleep with my regular watch on, no problem.

>>109138322
Smartwatches do nothing of value. Wow, you can see how much REM sleep you got! You can see how high your heartrate is!

You can tell both of these just naturally. Why do you need a watch you have to charge every few days to tell you this shit?

I wear a smart ring to sleep
>>
I was able to sleep with a Fitbit on
But an actual watch I always ended up taking it off while I slept or wake up in the middle of the night and take it off.
Happened once in a while with the Fitbit too actually

If you’re in the apple ecosystem then there is some useful benefits but aside from that, I see no reason to buy another watch. I’m gonna use my S5 from 2020 forever

what did she mean by this?

Why the fuck would you willingly strap a tracking device to your wrist? Just get a normal fucking watch.
