pretty happy with my anker gan prime. I can charge my laptop at 60w and simultaneously my phone and watch. It's picey

Cable I use is a cheap ass alibaba ordered 240w nylon charging cable with a built in power meter (shows only wattage) think I paid like 12€ delivery included
>>
anker is essentially the only name brand company that exists in this industry.

I fell for the meme and bought one of these several months ago, it's a pretty good charger all things considered. As for the cable I use some 6ft Insignia one.

What wattage did you buy? I got the 100w (it's only 65 on 1 main port, so 100w total. I wouldn't buy less
>>

45w

>Cables
If it's USB-IF certified you at least know it isn't complete shit. If you're just charging your phone or anything <50W PD it really doesn't matter. Last time I needed a bunch of A->C USB3 cables for monitor hubs I bought Sabrent multi-packs and some no name shit at half the price and both worked fine.
>Chargers
I've got Anker and Baseus bricks and both work ogey
>>

No, that would be Apple, Ikea and maybe AmazonBasics. Those at least won't burn down your house.
Some cheap Ankers are junk.
>>
just buy apple.

just buy an ad

I need PPS for my phone to charge at the maximum speed

Anker, Ugreen, Apple, if you are on a budget there is amazon brand, insignia. If this is for a phone I would use OEM cable and brick.

Somehow, the Walmart brand Onn is really fucking good

>bricks
65W is the new 20W, even cheap chinesium like ugreen is reliable with the only annoyance being that only one of two usb sockets delivers full 65W
140W are big enough to be annoying atm, thankfully my laptop and soldering iron both work fine on 65w
>cables
god only knows, I just bought several 1m long thunderbolt 4 cables so i dont have to think whether this one does 100w or if its the quick data transfer or the one that works worh displays or …
You CAN get decent usb4 cables for cheap-ish, but the 1m+ ones tend to be unpleasantly stiff

It genuinely is. Dirt fucking cheap and USB-IF certified

Anker - top tier chargers
Baseus - top tier cables and good chargers
Ugreen - good cables
Got a 200W Anker Prime recently for my desk. It's a hefty and relatively pricey brick but it's pretty solid.
>>
>>109144409
I'm cheap so I always go IKEA + Ugreen cables
>>
>>109144409
Apple and Google ones are great.
>>

I don't want the poopenfarten protocol to purposefully charge my android at half a watt

Piggybacking on this thread.
Anyone have USB cable testers that report what the cable is able to do? Especially with the clusterfuck that Type C is
