What is the oldest piece of tech you or someone you know still uses regularly? My senior coworker still has an S6 edge. When I asked him about it he just said "it works."

my one friend still just uses flip phones. He'll buy new ones sometimes if they break or if he loses them. He just doesn't wanna carry around an expensive smart phone or get baited into using social media more than he already does on pc.
He'd rather carry around a $30 phone or whatever and use printed out maps like its 2007

I listen to music on an ipod which is almost as old as I am. I upgraded the battery and swapped the storage to microsd cards. It's simple and efficient and I'm very happy with it.

I suppose it's probably my Wacom tablet, it's an old Intuos 3, that or my old Dell 30" 2560x1600 monitor. Both are from shortly after the turn of the century.

Tell him to look into an older Garmin GPS. I use mine from 2013. They're still true to their lifetime maps, and since the company has a huge market of specialized stuff (like marine units) I doubt they're going away anytime soon. Going based on address, it has literally never failed me.

I alao have a S6, but it's the base model. Been my phone since middle school, and I see no reason to get a new one anytime soon.
Though the headphone jack is so degraded by constant use that it no longer holds the connector in place. I have to hold the jack in place to keep it playing music and not disconnecting.

I'm a huge fan of old tech but I just don't have the space for more shit in my little apartment. My CRT TV and CRT PC monitor probably. I'd love to get some early PC's tho, they seem fun to dick around with
