What is the most private VPN? Mullvad looks nice but it requires systemd which is a no-go. Needs to be good for torrenting and other such stuff. Apparently proton and nord and all the VPNs that get shilled are all glowware.
>>
>>109163983
They're trying to cancel Mullvad now
>>
>>109164054
Yeah I saw the thing about the muzzies in Sweden or something. I like everything about Mullvad except it apparently does not work on Linux without systemd.
>>
>>109163983
>requires systemd
just right an init script or have ai do it for you
>>
>>109163983
>requires systemd
afaik you can generate wireguard config and use it with whatever client you want.
>>
>>109164074
You probably meant "write", but it still kinda works. And I like it better this way, as if he should right the wrong of systemd.

AirVPN became the meta after Mullvad removed port forwarding support.

pacman -Q mullvad-vpn-dinit
mullvad-vpn-dinit 1.1-1

what did he mean by this?

It’s brave all over again
>>
>>109164072
Mullvad works fine with wg-quick, you don't need the official client. Bigger issue is no port forwarding, but Proton supports that.
>>
>>109164243
I'm just so fucking sick of the purity testing from the left. They dominate all online software communities, except maybe this one. They find one single reason to hate you, and they turn on you in a microinstant and try to destroy your life. I don't see any end to it either. The right meanwhile will accept almost fucking anyone into their group, they're mercenaries.
>>
> says doesn't like systemd
> is not aware of wg-quick

many such cases.
>>
Why are there so few vpns providing dedicated residential and static IP's? Shared dynamics are pointless unless you just plan to enter a website and look at it. Can't really interact or do much.
>>
>>109167833
>enter a website and look at it
That's what all normies use VPNs for.
>>
>>109167859
Even if they use it to access netflix shows restricted in their location won't they run into problems if they're using a flagged ip with their netflix account? Even then it seems risky
>>
>>109163983
Why are we supposed to hate Proton again?
>>
>>109167891
some french faggot who used it for drug dealing and child grooming got ratted out by Proton so this somehow means we cant use it for any non-subhuman ends o algo
>>
>>109163983
I use Proton for torrenting
>>
>>109167937
They've never made any secret of the fact that they must comply with Swiss court orders to hand over data. To warrant the hassle of cross-border law enforcement cooperation and for a Swiss court to actually order data to be handed over, he must have been into some bad shit.
Most of it is encrypted and useless to the authorities, because Proton doesn't have the keys. But obviously they need access to some level of data in order to provide the service - wasn't the guy undone because he had a credit card (which obviously requires a name and address) on file? Obviously Proton would need access to that to process subscriptions.

Is AirVPN better than TorGuard? I got a massive discount on TorGuard so just wondering

>>109164339

>>
>>109167878
Well not risky, but only a matter of time before they have problems if not already. Really all IPs should operate more like cellular networks use them, but even more so. I blame early internet for making IPs commodities instead of purely protocol. MAC i guess is the same way, but not nearly the same issue.
>>
>>109168118
>Really all IPs should operate more like cellular networks use them, but even more so
Hell no. CGNAT is garbage. Cuckflare captchas, IP range blocks, no port forwarding, random network features can break, etc. Shared IPs only make sense for VPN/Proxies, I don't want my home network to be that slop, just give a fucking static IP.
>>
>>109168118
Risky as in their account may be closed because they think the IP is abusive, suspicious or used by people who aren't the owners. Wouldn't happen with a clean dedicated residential
>>
>>109164339
the left are the real fascists
always have been
>>
sweden is just really good at VPNs for some reason. aside from mullvad they have another one called ovpn (yes, confusing name) that's also really good.

https://www.ovpn.com/sv/security

what sets them apart the most is how fast their servers are. i can max out my 1gbit connection (so good for torrenting) and even play games like cs2 with no issues

As a side note, is there any good cloud hosting for personal shit? I know I can host it on my own, but I'm not sure how good the sync would be and ideally I want something like Android/Google Drive. Thanks!
>>
>>109164054
Wasn't that because they had a tier 1 security breach
>>
hey I want a VPS as a first jump before I get to my VPN, what do you recommend? I'd like a VPS as a first jump so I can have port forwarding and an I2P router.
>>
>>109171379
All exit nodes are blocked. So you need a VPN if you want to actually use the internet.
>>
By the way, is the current renewed interest from burgers because KOSA looks like it's going to pass this time?

I use NymVPN. Pretty good prices and non-Israeli

>WAAAAHHHH WAAAAHHH IM A STUPID WHITE TRASH LOSER
Chuds literally can't do anything. They can't produce media, they can't code, they can't make art, they can't build, they have zero skills, they're braindead mongrels and their only claim to life is their skin pigmentation. You're the laughing stock of the world. Just kill yourself already.

Don't make it about being white or not. I'm white. I'm a leftist. White trash is an insult that isn't needed. We don't need less division, nor more. Solidarity is what we need. And we do have it, and we will continue getting more of it.

To be fair, if you can be replaced by a streetshitter whose education consists of a 6-week ESL course, it might just be a (You) problem.
Having said that: denaturalize and deport them fucking all.

try mysterium you can just copy whatever node it is for the ip into a .txt
>>

The website is in broken English, the VPN client is literally named Eddie and it's written in mono and requires Microsoft libraries to run even on Linux, And it's in a country that can compel logging.

Why you would use this is beyond me.

Yeah way to totally gloss over:
>The website is in broken English, the VPN client is literally named Eddie and it's written in mono and requires Microsoft libraries to run even on Linux
Also Mullvad owns all their own servers, and they all run entirely from ram, and they have been raided by police and have found nothing

I'm using Proton on a Win 7 retro build that I play online with, am I still ok? I'm not doing any nefarious shit not even torrenting, it's a Core 2 Duo box to play Quake 3, UT2004, Unreal Tournament 99, DOOM, etc. at retro LAN parties. I haven't had any issues with it and I quite like it.

What is our consensus on the free Cloudflare WARP one?

What's the best for torrenting?
