i always liked that design, even have most parts for version with trackball. But learning to use it takes time.

Had to buy new mmo mice for work, aerox 9 finally dead (i should be able to fix it with new switches but dont have time for that). Turns out that fucking razer locked storing macros in mice memory for more expensie model, u can only store single keypresses and simple shortcuts, everything else requires app in background. So i had to find workaround with autohotkey, It's actually good because it's quite good software and I finally learned it. As for mouse, compared to my old Aerox 9 its much more ergonomic with side keys placement. With hands on bigger side i can easly click everything, with aerox 9 not so much.

Yep, typical razer. Glad I finally got rid of synapse after replacing my deathadder.

Both the womier normcore and low-profile keycaps fit the cherry mx switches (outemu honey peach v3 (I think)).
But then i realized the light doesn't really shine through because I didn't know about South facing and North facing LEDs. But I'm satisfied for now. I replaced all the keycaps with the normcore normal profile ones.

There is not much choice if we talking about mmo mices. There is corsair scimitar, steelseries aerox 9 that i had with lots of problems and razer naga v2 pro and v2 pro hyperspeed. And i thought that if they advertise that the mouse has memory for 1 profile, I can save whatever I like on that profile, not just individual buttons. Turns out u can't and u need synapse in background. I chose the Razer thinking that I wouldn't have to have their soft running in the background like with fucking steelseries gg that was anoying af, even broke sound on my pc despite not owning any of steelseries headphones.
Few minutes with autohotkey docs and its fixed. I assigned nagas buttons to numpad and wrote few macros assigned to numpad buttons with autohotkey so i dont need synapse in background, only autohotkey script in autostart folder.
Pro version is nice but paying 2x price for features i dont need so i can save few kb file inside mouse memory.

Not mkg but a question for mice

What would you recommend. Preferably wired. Outside of games I prefer to use some of the extra buttons as copy and paste. Otherwise everything else I just keep default. Currently using my old pic related mx518. Is there a modern equivalent or another brand worth trying. Nothing too gaymer if it can be helped. Just something that feels good

Also 3 or 4 of the mice I currently have seem to have middle scroll wheel double click issues. What's the likelihood it really is hardware issues as opposed to some sort of setting. Because 4 mice with the same issue from diff brands feels too unlucky

Get a Deathadder v3 wired. No RGB, very low profile, comfortable, solid but light. Have had one for a few months coming from an Intellimouse Pro, it's a welcome change.

how does a tiny nub offend you so much? I use a trackball but it's annoying when you need to make a small adjustment.
I find trackpoints/trackballs/trackpads mounted where the screen on this board is to be pretty retarded if I'm gonna move my hand that much I'd use my real mouse, but having it right where your hands already are would be extremely nice.

Will box switches reduce wobble on shitty stretched out ABS keycaps?
Are gaterons really worth 2x price vs kailh?
Only really need to do something about bottom row modifiers and other long keys, my alphanumeric cherry blacks work fine as is, so idk if I want more of the same or heavier yellow.
>>
>>109176736
>reduce wobble on shitty stretched out ABS keycaps
Sticking a tiny square of plastic wrap between the stem and the keycap will do this.
>>
>>109166926
Get a Lamzu Paro Aurora or Thorn V2 if you don't want a web based driver. They have both optical switches and encoder which last significantly longer than mechanical as most mice either cheap out on the switches or encoder
>>
Baion druryyyy

>>109176736
absolutely nothing wrong with Kailhs
their box stems will hold your sissy keycaps hard

when are the extras dropping?
>>
>>109179188
production ETA is mid-July, but it's Kezewa, so add another month for one delay or another
they won't be ready to ship everything to vendors via their CN forwarder until 18–20 August
pre-order paypigs will receive theirs a month after that, so mid-September
extras will then be announced by vendors.

MT3 goes in all fields but with Drop's death the closest you can find are SA and Keychron's KSA
>>
>>109180505
MTNU is closer in the shape of the top of the keycaps, but they're not tall like MT3 of course.
>>
File: CSA Monster.png (1.24 MB, 1500x1438)
1.24 MB PNG
>>109180514
Pretty damned expensive compared to the others too, you're staring down the barrel of ~$150 for a keycap set since GMK commits highway robbery

I will say once you get MTNU you will probably never want anything else, given it's MT3 with height chopped off and MT3 is kind of the platonic ideal of what a tall keycap should be, but for a budget option I would definitely be pointing to Keychron KSA, Sumgsn SA (can be had on Amazon for ~$25), and all of the CSA or ASA keycaps listed in this link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BRK81F3J

did anyone try the gravastar ufo switches? i've heard good things but i don't trust random people on twitter anymore because they're all fucking paid
