Which browser uses the least amount of RAM? I don't care about speed.

>>109173483any of the old shit like firefox esr or palemoon. librewolf is a good lightweight modern browser.
>>109173483not firefox, that's for sure.I am pretty surprised chrome uses less than firefox nowadays on my puter
>>109173483links if you don't need js
>>109173483If you need all the browser features, just keep using Firefox/ungoogled chromium (or the associated forks, like librewolf or helium). Otherwise, if you need most sites to work, qutebrowser, badwolf, surf, etc. If you don't care about correctness, palemoon, basilisk, etc. If you don't need JavaScript, netsurf/dillo. If you don't need images or CSS, you can use lynx.browsers -> stripped down existing browsers -> lightweight alternative browsers -> browsers without interactivity -> text only browsersFor me, qutebrowser is the sweet spot, as websites will almost always display correctly. Palemoon is nice, but it often gets formatting incorrect. And on my worst computers, dillo works very well.
>>109173718Is not a bad choice, but unfortunately in the age of cloudflare and JS, it's often unsuccessful at this task. How is it that I can browse (to an extent) github, but not linuxquestions.org from a text browser?
Pretty sure Lynx is lightweight. I haven't looked at the numbers though.

How about Safari?
