You don't buy software off the shelf from the store and put it into your computer's optical drive, you just download it from the internet onto your local system. Why are you mad that the game gets downloaded onto your console's SSD instead of put on a spinning disc that's sold to you separately? SSDs and hard drives are literally physical media. The games have DRM regardless of whether they're on a disc btw.

Sony Music would never stop physical. This is one of the reasons Sony Music absolutely despises Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE, the Californian branch) because they make retarded decisions like this. I think movies are safe for a while too.
