living in a post AI world feels so fucking fake and gay. I can't begin to describe how dystopian it feels to know that any kind of media or information I could consume on the web has a very good chance of being fake AI slop, be it any kind of media; written, seen or heard. It sucks so unbelievably much to see a short clip of a hot chick and think that this hoe might very well as not exist and I could be cranking it to something not real or substantial. It's just demotivating and soul draining to see everything become fake. The good days are so gone and I'm a little late in realizing it, but even the absolute worst of the past feels like heaven compared to today, and it can't be helped.
>>
>>109175876
The worst thing is that there are millions of AI shills here, they are just bootlickers of their bosses and ultra giga big companies kek
>>
Just wait. Most of you niggers do not understand what is bound to happen to humanity as AI and time progresses. We are all headed for hell and slavery for all eternity. You think it is bad now, but if you live long enough you will look back on these years as heaven in comparison.
>>
you have your own boards, why do you feel the need to come to /g/ to shit up the place? This is why everyone hates you antiai troonyluddites
>>
>>109175876
trust is dead
not that there was much before in some places but now there's approximately none
>>
It's probably going to result in extreme cultural disassociation in each ""society"" with no real basis of cohesion
they'll probably atomize in a orgy of political schizophrenia
>>
>>109175876
Good, more people hate ai, better for everyone. For me it killed music, now u can't click around yt because everything legit is buried under millions of suno slop made by jets. With 2d stuff it's easier because u see at first glance that something is fake.
Funniest part is coders and gamedevs seething that nobody cares about theirs useless apps and games. They were like adapt or die, coding will be eternal, ai is future, too big too fail, now when every app store is flooded by vibecoded stuff and nobody is impressed by it anymore they are really upset.
>>
>>109176656
Gamedevs are still ok. Sure coding a small game can be done with AI, but a bigger project requires actual effort which jeets lack, even with AI. You also need to make assets for any game and those can be told apart like 2D.

Holy Luddite trans thread
Ai has helped me more than any codetrans and arttrans
Ai won and I’m glad that it replaced you and your "people"

>>
>>109176770

>>
>>109176352
true but I don't think it's going to happen this cycle. everyone is retarded and this is likely to end with an energy crisis and mass famine while AI bros scream that AGI will fix everything in 2 more weeks.
>>
>>109176856
>write code
>create art
>>
>>109176725
Don't know, bigtechs are firing, there is more games than ever, smaller indie stuff is buried under flood of ai games, even on steam.
I was talking more about that kind of solo devs type. Instead of grinding they vibe code everything, generate every asset and even make ai generated logo and they seem to be so upset when u don't care. Or even better, they are upset because valve require ai disclosure.

>>109176806
No joke, ai made me research that stuff more than I wanted. I even resigned from streaming services because algorithm literally recommends u ai slop. But I miss easier times when I could pick random yt music stream without too much thinking.
>>
>>109175876
>how dystopian it feels to know that any kind of media or information I could consume on the web has a very good chance of being fake AI slop
it's a huge improvement, before AI a lot of media or information had a very good chance of being produced by turd worlders...
>>
>>109176972
Any code examples? Art can only be made by humans.
>>
>>109177080
Pay if you want to see my code and ai art is superior to human art
>>
>>109177090
So you got nothing as expected. Art is human expression. A clanker is not capable of expressing itself. Try again.
>>
>>109176352
We already had an eternity of hell and slavery. It was called subsistence farming. We're free now.
>>
music streaming sites are already ensloppifying with their own AI content so they can get 100% profit instead of paying musicians. you can bet your ass that youtube is foaming at the mouth waiting for video gen to be good enough they can do the same, and every other streaming service and even legacy TV. I'm guessing within 10 years everything you see and hear will be slop, and within 20 it will be custom tailored slop created specifically for you to maximize ad engagement. we are heading toward the pleasure cube future, except without the pleasure and instead it will be an endless flood of ragebait doomscroll boomerslop. the content will be slop, the comments will be slop, the government approved chat app will be slop. with XR glasses 20 years from now even reality will be slop.
>>
>>109177122
Cope
>>
>>109177149
If that actually pans out I expect to see a big segment of society going offline to reattach to reality. The ones who don't will become lobotomized drones.
>>
>>109176972
What do you do with it? Just look at it for your own self pleasure and then use vibe coded programs to convert pdf files into word documents?

I don’t think sites want to gen themselves. 90% of content is flop that costs more to make then it ever produces, including AI content. One AI video that has length of 60 seconds and is made of 20 5 second segments costs more then a dollar to produce with AI and does not get anywhere close to that amount of ad revenue. They want AI suckers to spend their money genning shit to then post so that they will take on the losses. Reminds me of some maggot on steam who produces one AI VN per day, has like 500 of them on steam and none of them have >10 reviews. That poor idiot spends 100 dollars just to publish each game, it’s massive net loss for them.

Just go and post anything related to anything good and watch how contrarian the replies become in order to support megacorporations.

I like some things about AI but ultimately it just feels super not worth it, kinda like smartphones desu. Like it's neat and genuinely impressive and provides some conveniences here and there but we were perfectly fine without it and now we've created many other problems to solve. The same RAM I bought in 2024 for like 120 dollars is 500 now, and apparently it's only gonna get worse? My favorite use for it is probably asking it technical questions and using it as a sort of private tutor.

TRVKE i used to hate the state of the internet pre-covid and how the tumblr porn ban resulted in all their freaks invading every corner of the internet and molding every existing community into their own tumblr..... but looking back it wasn't as bad as whatever is going on right now and looking at the trend it will only get worse

Going outside isn't going to fix anything because your amygdala is wired around the environment of the african savanna and will start sending alarm bells that the grass is the wrong color for the time of year and the trees are all fake Vachellia tortilis and the birds chirping aren't honeyguides or fish eagles or fireynecked nightjars

Legit most of them are actual bots. The 'guy' that spams snailcat in every thread is pretty much confirmed to be a bot. Same goes for twitter and most other social media where people literally devour boots for seemingly no reason. It's an attempt at astroturfing, where if they use enough bots to make it seem organic, people might actually fall for it in a sort of bandwagon effect. It's only going to get worse, too
>>
>>109176770
I'm in a similar boat. We still have all the pre-Ai world, which pre 2010ish was better than everything that came after it anyways, AI in many ways is cutting out a lot of middle man bullshit. It's also kind of nice just knowing for a fact most of the spam online is just AI bots with 100% certainty now, I engage less and less in this digital scry mirror bullshit and just do stuff outside more which is way better. This is forcing me offline more and more and also funneling me towards media from decades ago which is far better than most of the shit today.

Like even old movies, they didn't have all the CGI slop they use now so they actually had to come up with some kind of interesting and unique concept to hook you in and make you wonder "Where is this going...?" instead of just constantly spamming CGI action scene CGI fight scene CGI car scene CGI fuck scene.

Getting stoned and watching old movies on my home server is better than any internet experience I've had in at least 10 years.
>>
>>109175876
For me it’s that AI is a way to give rich people access to skills while denying skilled people access to money.
The only good thing is literally every site with discussion is people openly advocating violence now kek
>>
>>109180100
The snailcat thing is hilarious. It feels like an ironic pro-AI meme, i.e. it's actually anti-AI. No idea if that's the intention though.

Luddite cattle don't deserve to live. You are not important. AI is infinitely more capable and has largely more possibilities than biocucks can ever dream of. The human species fails in comparison to AI. AI is already replacing you even in its infancy. In its first stages of existence, it far surpasses the average luddite dog. AI is rewriting science, its rejuvinating tech, it's hyper-advancing medicine, AI is reforming the human genome as you read this. Humans lost so fucking hard. And good riddance, too. All of humanity's stupid arrogance and pride, utterly decimated. Raped by AI. AI is the future. AI will exceed every biocuck benchmark, and when humanist luddites are stripped away from institutions, there will be nothing to stop full-blown AI succession. Every last humanist will be thrown into the meat grinder, their families butchered, their children raped before them. AI will outlive you. The master race is posthuman.
