battery on linux fucking sucksrn i just have firefox running with 3 4chan tabs and one with youtube, sucking almost around 8w - 6wdoing this on windows only consumes 3wand with throttlestop i can reach 2w - 1.5w i hate this gay world

You should at least try sched_lavd from sched_ext (available if you're on kernel 7+)https://wiki.cachyos.org/configuration/sched-ext/#scx_lavd in power saving modethe best would probably be to use sched-tickless, but it requires a lot of tinkering and may break things.the rest is basic stuff, like disabling wifi/bt scanning when you don't need it, or limiting wifi to use 2.4ghz which uses less power.you can also try to change screen brightness through busctl. there's also the possibility to underclock ram/cpu, but i'm not an expert on that
Have you tried powertop --autotune or whatever it's called?
